Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Wow, thread necro!

I've never been to a GT, nor do I know any GT players or where they live. My 40k lifespan is approaching 1 year; I started playing 40k last year, pretty much immediately before 'Ard Boyz. 'Ard Boyz was my first tournament and it was brutal because my games went so slow; I had to look everything up in the codex, and didn't have things memorized (like how to figure out "to hit" or what you need to wound, and stuff like that.

Like I said....much has changed in the last year. Part of the reason I *AM* looking forward to 'Ard Boyz so much is because I haven't gotten to compete beyond a regional level before, and I'd REALLY like to see how I measure up against everyone else.

I was going to attempt to go to a GT here recently that I saw on the GW website, but the registration was already full when I heard about it. :(
