But will I be able to get it before Adepticon?

Probably.

The better question is will you be able to have it painted in time?

Oh, and Ozzy, I finally found my camera(right after my wife bought a new, better camera for herself, no less), so I'll be able to do WiP shots of my Primaris getting a mask(I'm thinking the one from the BB sprues, as it's closer in style to the Krieg/Steel Legion masks than the Cadian Respirators).

Painted well or painted to the minimum standards required?

Sound like how my basing might look if I don't get my arse in gear(of course, I still need my FW order to arrive to be able to even finish the army).

*sigh*

Why not preview it now Games Workshop. Why not get everyone jazzed about this book now. Why don't you preview the new models now, do painting and modelling articles, give us background articles on the new units, have a few battle reports to show us how it works - promote your upcoming product rather than going "We've got this awesome thing that's coming out... but we're not going to show you any of it until it's released."

They are such a bunch of clown shoes...

Nice and simple- because WD is written so far in advance (probably August for Jan. issue as games day won't have taken place) the stuff isn't ready to show off/talk about

Bullgak.

Models are made anywhere up to 18 months in advance (or longer - look at the Aegis Defence Lines in the 5th Ed rulebook).

So yes, the magazine is made in advance of the month, but so are their products. The two should walk hand in hand, and WD being written in advance is not an excuse.

With your XBox 3-schnickety dead, you should have PLENTY of time for painting. You'd better be representing DD2 well.

You want us to represent well?! I should probably get some of those GW washes and make my stuff look better, then...

To completely derail the thread (I guess HBMC can continue to rant if he wants to), I actually did get some painting done last night. Without the ability to pwn noobs in MW2 I may actually finish in time for Adepticon...

Oh and Plat, the washes are magic. Seriously, I can get so much done so much faster with the liberal use of Devlan Mud and Badab Black.

I'm thinking Thraka green to help blend the highlights with the original DA Green.

You might be able to mix Thraka green with badab Black and make a dark green wash.

Meh. We don't know anything new yet about this book, the thread kinda stagnated.

Yeah, OT scum! Start a DD2 thread somewhere that I can read it.

And I'm going to lock this thread for me taking it off-topic.

Bad Mod.
