Reminds me that these heads (and the other Nezumi heads) also work for Space Skaven, Hrud and Nurgle traitor guard

Today, Micro Art released two 60mm bases for their Alien Base line (standard price 4.88 € each):

Nice and decorative while still having room for minis.

Micro Art Studio just released two Giant Wolves, each with 2 alternative heads, for Fantasy or Space Wolf needs (bring your own rider). Dimension 8-9cm long, 4cm high, pictured on 60mm base not included. Price 21.96 Euro each.

Nice models but the prices are just plain ridiculous!

Yeah, $27 seems a bit much to pay for a large wolf. ~$20 range would seem a lot more reasonable to me.

Yeah, well just because GW is "completely way overpriced and I would never buy" doesn't make $27 for a medium sized, fairly basic metal model a good deal.

Exactly! Also its a incomplete kit you still have to buy a rider. Its a nice model though.
And its not only this mini I made several shopping carts in the past at micro and looking at totals its well above other " alternative" companies and if you know were to search... well lets just say I always felt cheated at looking at shopping carts totals and went elsewere.

Liking the wolves, except for a couple things. First, the tails seem a bit... clubby. They should come to a bit more of a point, and the fur hanging off shouldn't be as thick. Also, the heads strike me as somewhat low-set on the bodies, but this could just be the poses. Sadly I'm gonna have to agree that the price is a bit much. Still, if I wanted bigass wolves, I'd really consider these, the growling one especially.

This month, Micro Art has released some terrain, a hardfoam SciFi canal. It certainly is not cheap, esp. when compared to the Armorcast alternative, but it looks nice. It is 5" wide and available as single pieces and in two sets.

Yeah... the price kinda turned of off on those. Maybe if it came pre-painted like that.

Look, I'd've preferred the original - we all know that - but what we've got is quite good. When mixed in with their other Iron Brotherhood products (I bought stacks of those as well) you get a very cohesive and genuine looking group of Skitarii, even though none of them are official 40K models. Haven't got the Stalker Tank yet... but one day.

Those uniformed Orks (using a polite term here, lest we insult ze Germans ) are an excellent incentive to start working out a Blood Axe army for desert operations, finally my pesky Elysians can get a worthy opponent.

1.) Nezumi Ashigaru Heads (usable for Clan Eshin rats!), 5 for 3.66 € :

2.) Knight's legs (usable for Dark Angels and similar chapters) 5 for 7.32 €:

Oh man, and here I was trying to figure out how to do 100+ conversions like those Eshin heads...

Those legs would be sweet for some iron hands!

Not sure about the rat-heads, look more like dogs to me.
