Hey guys, I've been really sick the last week and also trying to keep up on the wolf orders at the same time, been kinda hetic and mostly miserable.

I'm hoping to have the dread parts ready to go in about two weeks, same with the power scythe and jump packs, the plan is to have a very busy august with those releases. I may have to hold off listing them until the monday after gencon as it'd be too messy to let orders pile up while I'm out of town for the con.

Also just as a heads up to anyone that picked up the wolves, the inital batch of saddles came out messed up, I had to scrap them and recast the entire batch which caused them to ship 3 days late. I tried to make sure all of the casts were good before they left, but just in case any of the bad ones managed to sneak out shoot me an email and I'll make sure you get a replacement set.

After almost a month of casting I have a small pile of wolves that are slightly miscast, they are functional but have minor bubble defects that need a bit of loving care with the green stuff. They're nowhere near bad enough to throw out, but not quite to the quality standard I want for the regular wolves. None of them have any major flaws just small air holes usually on the backs of the leg, stomach, or the rider legs that don't effect the over all piece just minor cosmetic dings that can be fixed.

I'm thinking about listing them up as "budget wolves" which would be about half price, that way if you are on a tight budget and don't mind doing a bit of extra clean up on the models you can save some decent cash. Their availability will of course be dependant on the numbers of useable casts. Any casts with a major defect I toss and I only salvage the ones that are able to be fixed easily.

They should be going up next week.

Also now that I'm back to feeling normal I'm currently at work on the Ork/Orc rider legs and they should be going up along with the budget wolves.

Oh my goodness, I just went to the Resin Addict site and it's awesome stuff, I'll be spending a few hours on there later tonight! (I'm at work right now...)

The dread claws are great, very nice form to them, same goes for the scythes, really great shape to the blades.

Yes I'm currently working on molding the lashwhip and the dread bits.

I did a bit of modifying today and came up with two variants for the railgun, a shorter length one for urban combat and also a thinned down underslung version.

This is the original full length railgun:

This pic shows the same suit with one of the railguns replaced with the compact version:

A side by side shot to show the scale differance:

The underslung version:

These will be posted up as soon as I can get them molded.

They do seem to turn up slightly. The shorter one looks great.

I think the resin might have bowed slightly as I pulled them out a bit early and they were still pretty soft, didn't notice it until after I'd taken the pics. I'll need to straighten them a dip in hot water.

Resin warpage from heat is always annoying but at least it's an easy fix.

After seeing these, I've lost all hope of saving money this year. Seriously, I'm loving the sculpts. What do you plan on sculpting next?

Yes. Yes. Lovely railguns. But when can I give you money for the Librarian Dread conversion I've got a disposable 175 point unit in my army list waiting to be replaced by that beauty.

Yes, yes... railguns, libby dreads... all well and good for specific armies or post post soviet block historian gamers. You need to make something that has broad appeal and could sell to a wide audience... like your jump packs for example... now those would appeal to a large audience and earn you come coin so you have the freedom to embark upon the afore-mentioned little vanity projects...

Let me join everyone else who's chimed in requesting a date by which I can throw money at you for that Dread conversion kit!

Let me also throw out a request for a bits set I've yet to see any of the "after market" folks (Maxmini, MAS, Chapterhouse, Paulson, Scibor, etc...) make... I'd love to see a set of hands (compatible, natch, with existing models in powered armor) in various poses. In particular, in Steve Ditko-esque "spell casting" positions for both left and right hands. But also, perhaps, holding different pieces of equipment and/or useable for existing parts, but in different poses.
