The site is back online and running. Zeus light cruisers are not available. They have been removed from production due to possible IP concerns.

Sorry about the lag guys, been kinda busy.

The jump packs will be done in the near future, decided they need a few more changes as the lower part of the pack was looking pretty bland, I'm adding some cables and bulking it up a bit so it doesn't look quite as rediculously top-heavy.

The zeus ships I decided to pull from production, it was a tough call as I know it's very much in demand but myself and Zac (the ship's sculptor) agreed there's too many possible IP concerns on that one. For simular reasons the dread won't be happening, it's an awesome sculpt but there's no way to produce it without pissing off GW legal.

I've got a few things in the works alongside the jump packs and several new alien bits underway and some more robot goodness. Also working on some computer generated terrain so the drawing board is quite full and I'll get stuff posted up as it's finished.

I'm delighted to hear that the jump packs are still in process. I was counting on those!

You could just sell complete models on dakka using the trade board. Perhaps just leave the head and arms unattached and leave the torso off the legs so that buyers can position it how they want.

Infact, you'd get more money for it as you'd be selling whole models, not just the conversion kit. (Or you could just sell off conversion kits on Dakka anyway).

Bummer on the Dread, I was saving Libby Dread #2 for it, but glad to see life still. The jump packs will be a welcome thing to order.

Pity... I'd been holding some reserve back to get one of the Libby Dreads. Perhaps you could offer the sculpt up to Chapterhouse if they'd be willing to take on GW's legal attack hounds? 'Course that's feeding the "competition". Still, not making that kit is a real shame. That's a definite sale lost...

I had these posted in my other thread, these are the first completed sections for a set of tiles/terrain that could be used for space hulk or any other system with a modular floor or map system.

You are aware that they look almost identical to Armorcast's corridor system, right?
Even if there are no IP issues, you are sharing an already occupied small niche with a strong competitor.

Aren't the Armorcast ones just remolded (but in the instance perfectly legit) sections made from Hirst Art molds?

There's definitely not an IP issue with Paulson Games making stuff like that. Just not sure it's something that'll fly off the shelves...

I'd seen the armor cast ones, however the earlier experimentations on my tiles go back a good ways before I'd seen their tiles. The hirst arts molds and some of the older 3-d hulk boards were good inspiration sources. I'm not expecting it to be something that flies off the shelf, it's mainly a personal project that if I can see some return on then I'm content making the parts for sale as well.

Armor cast is producing them with hirst arts molds so there'd be nothing that'd prevent myself or any competitor from purchasing the same molds and producing kits identical to armor casts. With my own concept & rendition done in 3-d I can make my parts more unique.

The armor cast stuff is ok IMO, but I think a lot more can be done with the detail level and I also plan on having wall sections available which is something I don't think they offer. Just because one company might offer a simular product doesn't mean that it's area that shouldn't be covered especially if it can be done with a better sculpt option. That's why there's a good range of companies out there, each appealing to it's own share of fans who prefer differant sculpt styles.

Comparing yours to the ones from armourcast I can tell you that yours look so much more detailed, walls would also be great to go with it.

I like yours over Armorcast's. I've always been impressed with you sculpts, which is something AC has never done.

That being said, I've bought 2 copies of SH and never played a game.

I used the termis for DA and BA. Bonus points, I got a free nid army.

I'll have a few new 3-d weapon designs coming along once the tiles are done. Eventually will be doing a power armor styled suit that'll be a mix of 40k marines & star craft influences.

I had an idea earlier on about a product you might wish to sell: new variations on Space Marine breastplates/torsos, considering how boring they are. More elaborate designs would be far more interesting to view and paint.

Been working on a fleshy ogre-like abomination.

The peices showed up earlier today and needless to say I was blown away by the quality as usual, and this piece had me falling in love with all the muscle detail. The pics don't do it justice as the flesh color of the sculptie hides a lot from the camera so I'm hoping to have pics of the first casts up later this weekend. If all goes well they'll be up for pre-order before christmas.

Along with the tri-engine jet packs!!!!!! I have several more sculpts and bits in the works for Jan, and the test pieces for my 3-d terrain is due in any day now so it's going to be a very busy period over the next two months.


He's on a dreadnought sized base so he's pretty huge, the joints are all done ball joint style so his pose can be adjusted.
