After I pay rent, buy groceries, and otherwise ensure my physical needs are met, I might spring for a Spess Mahreen Battleforce during a sale at my FLGS.

So in reality, probably nothing.

So... I just ordered 2 cadian battleforces forces and 3 valks.

And I will pick up some other boxes at the same time.

I MIGHT buy 3 chaos bikers. As opposed to the predator, two battleforces, box of terminators, two terminator lord kits, land raider, daemonettes, raptors, two boxes of plague marines, direct order noise marine weapons kits, multiple rhinos, and abaddon model I had planned to gradually buy up over summer. Plus the traitor guard force I would've been working on next year. The UK price increase is nothing next to what the poor Aussies are being landed with, but with student loans just about covering my rent and only being able to work part-time, a 20% hike on my plastic men would sting a lot.

Goodbye to my Black Crusade apoc army plans - I'm finishing my Word Bearers warband (which thankfully I bought everything for last month) then giving my custom to Mantic, Gamezone, and Wyrd Miniatures. Their undead are much nicer and more gothic than GW's VC line, not to mention being more consistent in age (black knights, I'm looking at you).

That's what they always say just before they turn....

Heretic.

Ouze on GW: "I'd like to be like, hey baby, you're a freak but you just got too much crazy going on, and I don't hook up with bunny boilers. But then Necrons are going to come out, and I'm going to be like damn girl, and then next thing you know, it's angry sex time again.

It's complicated."

I don't like to buy in bulk, as I know from experience that it will just sit in boxes for a year before I lose interest, sell and lost money on it. I prefer to paint at least half a unit before I order the next one.

But... I can no longer order from overseas (at a price that is not ridiculous) thanks to GW's new trade embargo, and I just haven't got the inclination to 'bulk buy', and the thought of giving any of my money to GW at the moment sickens me. So, I've ordered some bits and pieces of Infinity, a range I can continue to get overseas orders from at a reasonable price.

Just made my last purchase. Instead of 3 Chaos bikes (£21.60 direct from GW!) I ordered the entire Horus Heresy series so far (excluding audio books) - 16 novels, for less than £80, courtesy of Amazon. Know what's amazing? Out of the money I'd set aside to buy stuff for my CSM, I still have enough left to buy a troop box from every race Mantic currently produces. That or their starter set. Or a Warmahordes battle box.

order is in... paid for.

Dropped the Vindicator in favour of a 4th Razorback kit though. Cant afford 2 Vindicators to make em viable and dont have the budget this month (tax time!) for another.

Because on ebay there was a guy selling the turrets themselves for $6 i think , 5 of them too.

Then i noticed a trend that i doubt is a coincidence.
ALL ebay auctions that ships to domestic USA / UK only, have incredibly low final bid value.
And all ebay auctions that ships internationally usually goes to only 20-25% off final bid.

Which leads me to think how much we get ripped off.
