Subject: Space Marine Multiplayer REVEALED! CUSTOMIZER REVEALED!
THQSledgehammer wrote:Many of you are taking the time to speculate and re-speculate and then re-re-speculate around Multiplayer. So let me address what I can at this time and let you semi run with it.
Multiplayer will be offered in Space Marine - At launch the game will include 8v8 Annihilation & Seize Ground game modes.
Co-Op will be a part of Space Marine - The details on where & how this will be implemented have not been announced to the public. Again wiki sites are most likely out of date.
Q&A for the Multiplayer Fans:
How many players can play Co-Op? To be answered Soon! How many players can play in Online Multiplayer? 16 total (8v8 battles) How will Multiplayer be on PC? Is it the same as console? Yes 100% the same!
A "new" post on the multiplayer portion, since people are still speculating that PC will potentially get more players on their servers.

Subject: Space Marine Multiplayer REVEALED! Minor Update of tidbits

I'm just excited to see umlauts on the internet, they don't come by very often you know. Its like seeing a horse with two magical orbs floating above it that make the horse sound different from a horse that looks the same minus the two floating orbs of magic, its pretty rare.

No, just two lousy normal 'o's. Wait, I just made a face. 'o', its a surprise face.
See, cooperartion has two boring, normal letter o's while umlaut o is fanciful and amazing. I think that I need to reprioritize my life if umlaut o's on the internet are this exciting to me.

On Xbox you can get a power sword by completing "Kill Team." It is a third person arcade game that is pretty fun and is a prequel to "Space Marine."

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

You only need to complete a single level to get it, not necessarily the whole game. It's fun and I'd recommend the later but the former is all you need to do if you're just paying $10 for an electronic sword.
Yeah went home and played it again last night...just one mission. The game wasn't bad, it just wasn't great, but since it was an arcade game I thought it was pretty decent. Plus it gives some backstory on the game which is one thing alot of gamers want to know...what went on here before hand? I think it would be cool to go as a BT skinned assault marine with a power sword!

The release date looks like its pushed back a few days (was 9/6 - Tuesday, but not it's listed as Friday 9/9). Cool but short action video... no real news but a few nifty shots.
