I'm thinking Prisoner of Slaanesh.
People keep talking about a CSM release with 6th ed. I'm seeing the new starter box being a Slaanesh-themed army against some loyalist group.
Think about it: "Go loud" = noise marines
It all comes together!

New game, new Army June 30th? Is the game going to be that different or is a new game being developed? New Army sounds very promising. If this is real, Im looking forward to an update on this stuff, but hopefully the rules arent completely different.

Chaos daemons 1850

2500++ (Wraithwing)
I moved so starting from scratch. These were the armies I had, rebuilding my Chaos. |

"New Game" refers to new edition. "New Army" refers to starting a new army to celebrate the new edition. It's just adspeak.

The game will feature slight tweaks to the rules that we currently have, as we have had with every edition since 3rd in 1998, rather than an overhaul or anything strikingly new. It will most likely address imbalances in the current system, meaning that currently popular choices (which people already have in their collection) will become less powerful and therefore less popular, prompting them to buy new components for their armies and perhaps a 'new army' that now steps up to the plate in terms of effectiveness with the new rules.
At least, that's how it has worked with pretty much every new edition and codex release over the last decade or so

Thing is, alot of people lost jobs, don't have the income to start new armies. I was out of work for over 2 years, and only got a temp job. Even with the target at Rich parents who come in one time and spend alot of money, these kids have grown up now, and either started making money themselves or the parents will not be making one time purcheses again. So seeing how GW is "trying" to get vetrans back after ignoring them for the past decaded, it will be interesting to see how 6th edition will be going.

I'm also in the camp that PoS stands for Point of Sale. Advertizing, merchandizing speak.
We'll see in about 9 months, I guess.

I think that the AP system is a pretty solid alternative to AMS, but I would love to see cover saves turned into to hit modifiers instead.

Either I'm going to be stupid obvious or just stupid with this question but isn't GW doing a Hobbit miniature game variation?
Follow up question: when are The Hobbit movies coming out again?
If it IS a hobbit thing, TV Ads are really something that they already did before (at least when they sold LotR minis through Panini like Kiosk distribution).

That's plausible. 'Prisoner of Something' perhaps? Would be an odd break from form. Don't really give this much credit, though. Even if it is legit, it could be one guys projected plan for a release that could have then been rejected. Seems likely that a new edition will come out around that time, but that's more based on the regular release dates we've seen from previous editions.
