IMO, most of the the mini's posted are along the lines of "I don't like this style", rather than "this mini's structure and design is fundamentally flawed." Some are actually very well done, others, well looks like they ripped off of a Peanuts character.

Well, the thread IS about the worst looking model.

It can shot forwards and drive forwards but the gunner can neither see forward or properly turn the turret, also by flawed that means every model that cannot fit in a vehicle it's designed to do so or fit proper scales.

Well, neither do any of the vehicles. Can a Trukk really hold 10 boys? Can a Battlewagon hold 20? Can a Rhino hold 10 spacemarines?

Well all of this is down to personal taste anyway. I actually kinda like that terminator. I personally can't stand the old Eldar Wraithlords, they just look so silly.

Talking about old models though, a lot of old models were butt-ugly. Some actually looked better in the past, but most models were just horrendous in the past.

I don't know why people drag out that terminator time and again. That figure was made for the original release of Space Hulk over 20 years ago.

That was perfectly acceptable back then, plastic casting of 28mm figures by GW was in its infancy. Shock, horror, technology has moved on in 20 years.

Plus those Termies were awesome - I liked the ones with antennae and clip on flamers too. Ah...the good days.

Are you honestly implying Jain Zar doesn't look ridiculous? I know that model is 2nd ed, IIRC, but it looked stupid then and it looks stupid now.

And the new Flayed Ones look like they're dancing.

The pic posted had a truely woeful paint job on it.
Find other versions and its much better. I think the pose is quite dynamic considering its an old 2nd ed.

Dont agree with the Flayed ones comment either but hey thats different strokes right.

I just think the new Flayed Ones' flesh looks derpy. The old models looked downright horrific, and when painted well were creepy and characterful. The new ones look like they're wearing shawls or something. The flesh just looks wrong in my opinion.

I actually agree that Jain Zar, old Wraithlords, and a lot of other stuff doesn't deserve hate...actually I kind of like the Sister Dialogous too...

I like the look of the new DE stuff.
Have not seen the old Hellions, but I do like the look of the new Wyches. Have seen the old ones, and they look pretty much like women with bikinis and blades.
I guess it would show their 6+ save more if they were like that now, but then they would all look like Lelith.
