Wow... looks like "Zombie Eagle" is going to happen, too.

The six survivors that come with the game don't have zombie versions, right? Are the zombie versions of the promo survivors (six "normal" and six "zombie", assuming there's a normal and zombie chuck) playable? It mentions they are, but I don't understand why the survivors that come with the game wouldn't need zombie versions then.

The Ray card was Fan made. I posted it because we were discussing that the character dashboards have backs that are set up for you to fill in your own, and someone made Ray already. I think Hasslefree makes a suitable model for Ray.

The zombie versions of the survivors come into play in the first Zombicide expansion, due out next year. I expect to find zombie versions of the original six in that expansion.

My concern on this one is gameplay. Sure, it's full of nice pieces and cool art...but is the game itself actually going to be any good? They've been kind of reluctant to post the rules, usually a big warning flag for me...

There is a short gameplay video on the kickstarter site. I got to play the space hulk card game and this reminds me a bit of that.

And now over the $340,000 mark so zombie eagle as well. Interested to see if they put up another stretch goal. So tempted to go halves with a friend on this.

Welp, it's hit $340k, so zombie Chuck is in. This is pretty phenomenal. Now to see if they add in any more incentives for the game.

September I think, and Q2 next year for the expansion and some of the extra survivor/zombie figs they have offered.

I was about to jump in, but I'm gonna have to bow out.. with 6th ed 40k looming on the horizon, I need to start saving up my pennies for all the "OMG it's limited so buy it from us if you want it at all!!21@" stuff GW is gonna be selling.

They said sept to ship, but that they were playing it safe. Theyd rather have surprised early release than delayed late release.

This is sadly where I am at right now. Plus I brought into yours already within the last month.

It looks bloody awesome mind, but Aura is pointing out that a) she isn't really into the zombie thing, and b) how Doom, Warcraft and other good looking board games have been sitting on my shelf for over two years with no attempt to play them so far.

It's taxing though, I love the look of it, plus Zombies! so it would have been more likely I'd have tried to get it going. I am watching stretch goals and the like, see if anything pulls me over to the point I can't say no, and it seems they hinted in the comments earlier they maybe thinking up more.

I'm torn. Although I supported Blackwater Gulch right at the death as well.

Panic...

The little extras from the stretch goals really pushed me over the edge.

That and being capable of taking 6 players without having to buy an expansion.

We can comfortabley assume 6th Edition won't be out for than 6 months. They start advertising it through trades mags to distributors at least that far in advance, and we would have had a confirmation of that by now.

As others have already stated September is the street date, but CMON has already stated they are going to try and get it in the backers hands sooner than that. The September date allows them a safety net for delays.

Otherwise they would lose their asses on shipping. The consolodated shipping is why multiple copies are cheaper.

What scale are the minis in?

I don't understand how to get all of that stuff with, when I picked 100 it only discussed 2 sets. When I picked 190. it only mentiones survivor, and no mention of the Bad MF wallet.

I pick 190, and theres no choice to pick the other stuff out there.

if someone has already selected a reward its not possible to edit what the text says, so kickstarters put these sort of reward updates in the main text.. or in an update post.

Grot, the 'Bride' and 'Samuel L. Jackson' minis require an additional contribution of $20, not a new reward level. So at $100 Abomination level, you add $20 for Bride and Samuel (along with their zombie versions for free), for a total of $120.

It's explained under the 'You want fries with that?' section of the page.
