I think that you're thinking Tycho.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

I would say Dorn would be the best choice for the other warmaster.

Uh, not unless you know something I don't.

Is that a rumor in an upcoming codex or something?

Nevermind, it was Tycho I was thinking of. Their nipple armor makes them all look alike.

Envision this. Your an Astarte, your in the heat of combat and an ork takes a swipe at you. You dodge and avoid getting your testie cut off. You stand up and BANG! You realize your nipple is gone! Game over. Now a Blood Angel that would not happen to.

Valdor is a terrible choice. His paranoia contributed to the burning of Prospero.

Not too sure about him per say, but another custod epossibly. since they're supposedly made directly from the emporer as well. as close to a primarch as anyone would ge tthese days.

I wonder how Corax would have handled that job. I mean he doesn't seem like the guy that constantly seeks glory and self aggrandizment. He would probably be way to careful on the strategic level I guess, but probably wouldn't be corrupted like Horus.

Aquillion if that's his name would have made a damn good warmaster but I think it would have to have been a primary or there would have been a civil war

Yes, let's pick the only Primarch to cry to be in charge of the whole thing.

I just think that a someone from the Custodes would have been ideal in 30k as well as 40k. as far as his paranoia being reason for burning prospero is a bit harsh considering the guilty party of the fall of prospero was Magnus.

You can't cry and be a great leader at the same time? What kind of planet did you grow up on?

No one should be complaining about this codex. It gave regular Eldar a much needed buff by allowing us to drop Fire Dragons and D-Scythe Wraithguard wherever we want, without scatter. Without this, I almost lost a game once. It was scary. I almost took to buying fixed dice to ensure it never happened again.

Wrong, Horus himself cried a lot in the 2nd book of HH, Horus wept a lot throughout the book series in fact. Oh and there was Dorn who also cried at the sight of the dying emperor oh and lets not forget the emperor himself crying a few times. In fact I am hard pressed to think of a primarch who never cried

The Lion is the obvious choice. He was always and will always be the universes greatest tacticion. He should have been named warmaster over Horus

Campaign management is about strategy, not tactics.

Besides, we're talking about the same Lionel who is deeply paranoid, and murders his own men in violent outbursts?

Seems like the obvious choice.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

In his prime as a full leader of a Legion, likely Fulgrim, Kurze, Russ, Manus and Angron.

Fulgrim because showing weakness is imperfection.
Batman doesn't cry.
Wolves don't cry.
Manus had nothing to cry about. Except Istavaan but he ragequitted instead and then died.
Angron...well, Angron.

When did crying becoming an issue?

Anyways, Corax is one of the primarch that is described as controlling his emotions (well, untill things turned a bit brown there after the Dropsite disagreement). But I always viewed him as controlled and not bursting into anger and having emotional fits, such as Angron and many along with him.

Thinking about it. I'm gonna put my vote on Corax. Just keep him away from genetics-programs. (Well, that Alpharious's fault I guess. What a dick move from his side.)

Yes, and he lets guilt overwhelm him and abandons the Imperium. Traitors don't make good leaders.
