there's still time for it to succeed, hopefully the last minute backer rush will make it all up, but I do agree on the chance that this fail I think they should re release with a more standard war game hopefully it'll do better
out of curiosity is there anyone waiting on backing this game ?, im hoping theres a decent amount, either that or im going insane

The tech is what really separates this from other games though.

true but id rather see the game funded, the devs have stated that the digital components (hardware / app) are whats making the game expensive to fund, I like the designs and the world, the digital components are second for me

Without the digital components, I suspect they don't have anything really to sell. Everything else relies on those components to bring it all together.
I get the impression they did not design a tabletop game and try to graft the digital stuff onto it, they designed and began coding an application and then based the minis/world around that. Take away the app and the rest falls apart. The minis may attract some attention, but without the game they never make enough to bring them all to market. The game is reliant on the tech, any effort to really separate it likely leaves a mediocre at best game lacking the 'coolness' of the tech.
The tech sells this product for good or bad.

LIVE STREAMING game of Golem Arcana on Monday, October 7th at 11am PST.
Two HBS engineers (Aardappel and Garret) will go head-to-head in a grudge-match to determine who is the best player in the studio - and who will lose his beard. Our goal is to show supporters and skeptics how fast and easy a game with lots of strategic depth can be when it's digitally-enhanced!
The Quest:
Go to http://www.twitch.tv/ and create an account
Go to http://www.twitch.tv/harebrainedschemes/profile and FOLLOW our channel
Promote the event by posting a link on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Reddit, Pinterest, Carrier Pigeon...whatever.
And don't forget to show up to the event!
HBS really needs a concise, "how to build an army in Golem Arcana" section- all these new bundles really do is confuse things for me even further as to what I need to play.
Also, wish there was a way to play Durani with a Valkali Colossus. Or if there is one, then it's pretty unclear.
I don't know, I'm so torn on this Kickstarter. I think I'll watch the live game on Monday, and that will help me to decide whether I'm riding this KS out to the end or not.

The bundles we offer are merely a way for folks to pick up exactly what sets and minis they want. Those that just want to get the base game or a codex or two can do so as well.
hey there, the very final golem has been revealed the thornbeast
also the 3rd elite unit has been revealed as the black widows
another nice addition is that harebrained have been listening to backer feedback, and now all tiers of warrior and above are getting a free set of elites with theyre purchase, with warlord getting 2 and lancer getting all 4 respectively

Many players who pledged have moved up. So, there are often a few spots of early birds opening up. $375 is the best deal. If this is too expensive for you, get the warlord or warrior level with the free LE sets. It is still a good deal.

I hope this works out for them, not my cup of tea personally but it does seem like a much better effort at this sort of thing than Ex Illis was.
I think the tech will need to mature a bit more before it'll interest me.. the stylus and microdots are cool, but some sort of system that automatically detects where your minis are via RFID would be even better.
I dunno, it just seems weird that to "save time doing non-game related stuff like rolling dice and looking up rules", you have to do the even more abstract action of tapping the stylus on stuff all the time every time you want to move something.
Yes, the tech allows the rules to not "get in the way" but the stylus itself has to "get in the way" in order to achieve that so I really think I'd need something more automatic and cleaner before I go for a digitally enhanced game like this.
It all feels a bit "too early for its own good".. much like when microsoft tried and failed at making tablet PCs back in 2001.

I had to drop out of my pledge thanks to some unforeseen medical bills, but I'm excited to see this funded...and hopefully my finances will be better come next year when it hits retail.
