HI all - some pics of the first round of completed terrain. Sort of completed, still want to add some light weathering, graffiti etc, nonetheless I'm pretty chuffed given it's a first go with all things MDF and airbrush. Hope you like them -

(looks like it's on a deadzone mat? Those are 1/4 the size of an infinity table).

That looks like something else, deadzone mat has more obvious blood splatter and drains, with the occasional dark grey tile, some of those are split a little differently than DZ's strict grid. Rectangles, that's what it is, dz mat is all squares, that has some rectangles. It looks nice though, a little cleaner and more infinity friendly.

I absolutely love the giant Yu Jing logo for the Helipad. Looks great so far.

It is 3 foot x 3 foot of Customeeple mat, now carefully recut so the squares fit together better, but yes, a lot more scenery to paint yet, the above isn't intended to game on, just to show off the bits I've painted.

Coming next - in the continuing absence of new Ghulam and 55mm MAS bases, my Haqq remain on hold, so I got these these guys just because I think they look cool -

Good to see Gogo Marlene coming up in the painting queue, found that mini a lot of fun to paint (and of course, her small robot companion, whatever the hell that thing is meant to be!)

I assume it is some sort of Infinity 'Look Out Sir' thing for her, haven't read her rules, don't know what the Commissioner is for either, they just look great

Grand plan is these 5 take me to 33 Infiniminis, so a 17 strong Haqq force too should be 50 painted models by xmas, allowing time to finish the rest of the scenery as well. Would be a good first year. Can't see my Tyranids getting any reinforcements any time soon.

GoGo Marlene is just a journalist model.

The bot is her cambot. Nothing more. It probably carries the flash pulse she has. No such thing as a "look out, sir" in this game.

Commissioner model's rules will be released next month when the box comes out. He's a VIP civilian (until then, used the stats for Civvies from HS.

I imagine that some vehicles are in the works for that road. And a little park for a low vis zone is a nice inclusion. A top notch table.

What I like especially about this is it looks like an area people actually live/work in rather than a game arena.

Thanks all, glad you like it Going to plan some future additions whilst I get back to minis for a bit, but I think the upcoming church and crab crate-mover from Zen Terrain will be featuring, and hopefully the scout tower AW previewed ages ago, as and when they kickstart their KS. Really struggling with faces, the Commissioner, GoGo and Lucien have all had at least one repaint, and are going to get another. Lucien looked like the chef from the Muppets first time out. Resolving this is urgent, because whatever mild psychotropic CB put in the release agent to induce a buy-more-Infinity trance, it's working on me -

I applaud your choice of Sekban. Can't wait to see you paint them.

They weren't even on my list for Haqq originally, but I decided to leave the bikers until the new one arrives, so Odals were top of the list, and if I was getting 4 I had to get the 5th, and she was in the QK starter, so that left room for another 5 model link to give some nice balance to things, so it was KTS or Sekban, and I prefer the look of the Sekban.

So I've got a reasonable Haqq army without the bikers, Lasiqs, Ghluam and Saladin I originally wanted and will certainly get at some point. Well played CB. Again.
