Well, once again it looks like I'm out this month. I cleaned, stripped, re-based and pinned...even primed my Baharroth and then remembered I'll be out of town till Sunday starting tomorrow so doesn't look like I'll finish him.

Hopefully the last WIPs. Hardlining done on the grey and silver. Bases all done. Just some edge highlighting needed on the blue and some spot floor or details (lenses and suchlike).

That is indeed very pink looks good though. The purple bits create enough separation between rider and mount. Nice work.

Here are my final images for my counts as inceptors. Ive not done this comp before. Its good for motivation to actually finish things. Anyway, i hope you like.

It does give a bit of motivation, doesn't it, Flinty? And I agree, the daemonette ended up looking very nice.

Still getting an issue with the initial size being blurry, and snapping to focus if you zoom on my pictures. Of course, not getting great color, such as these have anyways, and washing out pretty bad, so I suppose it's all a bit academic? Bit disappointed with the foliage too, thought it'd be smaller relatively speaking, and all the nice purple "flower" bits pretty much immediately fell off as soon as they came out the pack. Still, outta time and energy, so final pics:


EDIT: So was going to use these, but really, as cluttered as the quick snaps from last night came out, they've got better color and detail, so exiling these down. Think I need to diffuse the light more, or give a little more background texture for the phone camera to work with or something. The ones outside of the spoiler are the actual final pictures.

Some great stuff popping up! I've finished a few hellions (I've somehow done six, I think only five were in the proof pic. I'm not sure how that happened, actually. I'm sure I was painting five at first.) I've got to photograph them tonight, which is always an ordeal. Should be able to post later.

My Final Pics for my Ork Jetbike, as ideas go I think it turned out ok.

@midget gems - I love the head hanging off the back. It's like after the git has finished strafing and dakkaing he can do a bit of light teabagging of whatever remains with the bloody neck stump! Dip dip potato chip!

Is it okay if I submit my pics tomorrow evening? I planned to finish my entry today, but I just couldn't resist my 4 year old asking me to come play with him on this sunny Sunday afternoon. Especially since I already was a bad father yesterday "ignoring" him with many painting hours......

The mini is currently drying now.

I've waited 4 weeks for my minis to arrive which I thought I'd paint for the pick up the pace. This is a quick job a last minute entry.

It's a mini from Konflikt '47, German shreckwulfen a fast assault troop.
Also it was a nice practise for the jungle camo which I'll use for the future minis. Turned out okayish, needs some touch ups.

Looks like it took until 2am. As the test squad for a new army, they aren't exactly the greatest thing I've ever painted. But I enjoyed painting them, and I might revisit them once I'm a little more comfortable with Grey Knights.

It's not really done, but it's certainly as done as it's going to get in September! With Orktober coming, though, i'll probably just focus on new models and call this one "table-top ready" after I highlight the dirt.
