There will be an online supplement to help players create their own missions, according to White Dwarf this month.

As much as there's only 12 missions, and GW's short attention span to maybe add something on the website, I knew there's a handful of websites with more missions for SH.... if I can find them again I'll post them...

Nothing worth winning ever came easy.

I was trying to decide which of the Terminators would best have a Cyclone added to it when I realized that Brother Scipio does not have one of those camera/sensor arrays like all of the other Termies. Since he is the shy, quiet type, maybe they decided he did not need one.

I'm actually planning on putting together a compilation in PDF form of ALL of the previous and current edition missions.

I have all of the books, expansions, and White Dwarf missions, but I'm considering using the MISSION 13 PDF kit they are going to release to present all of the material in the same visual format.

That sounds fantastic, as long as it is OK to do so!

I ordered this some days ago! I might consider selling it on ebay once I got it (Without the badass models though) As I only bought it for the plastic terminator librerian really TBH! It's sure going to be hard work getting all the blood angel marks off them and replace them.

That was my idea, to convert the chapter... but believe me some of the details I would be required to cut off are just to good for that, also even if I can manage to get positive results with the GS these would be a bit hard to pull off right.
I think I will not convert them now, after looking at so many sweet details that would be lost in the process.

Meh, I know what you mean! Would be a real shame to loose all those details... I will leave some that are too sexy to be cut off'n green stuff'd, but the majority of things such as the blood drops on their shoulder pads and such, will be removed I'd guess.
The rest... I will make up a story when the chapter "donated" or "lost" some tactical dreadnought armors and was later found and used by the chapter I'm collecting.

I decided to make mine into Deathwatch, use all the blood drops as marks for how many times each has survived a combat event while serving DW. I am going to use the Inquisition Brass Etch sheet for Inq symbols. I have not figure out what the Chalices mean yet. Not sure if I will do something with Sgt Lorenzo's fangs or not.

Can't you see he's holding two of the skulls? Clearly he's the one stacking them up like that. The whole "evil alien" thing is just Imperial propaganda - everything you've been told is a lie!

The Genestealers are just defending their homes and their right to stack things (skulls or otherwise) in whatever manner they please. It's the Terminators who come in without warning or provocation to ruin that for them.

These two comments make entirely too much sense. I think I need to model some Imperial civilians as a 'Save the Genestealers' protest group...

There is a story in the RT era Compendium (pg 16) where some Blood Angels are getting ready to teleport into battle and going through their last minute rituals. One of them Brother Levi is wearing a suit of termy armour that was originally Ultramarine's and was in bad need or repainting, but they would not. It even had areas of bare metal showing on it. Every time they tried to paint over it in red, the person wearing it would get killed so they stopped and just decided to leave it the way it is believing that the suit knew it was just a loaner.

I play...

Would it be possible to just cover the Blood Angel symbols with skulls of various sizes?

That would be pretty authentic for a lot of SM chapters.

Of if there isn't too much detail, sand down the least detailed shoulder pad and replace it with the space Deathwatch Termy shoulder pads I have.

I fell slightly annoyed that GW would supply independents in retail before they send out the pre-orders to their own direct customers. However, it's no doubt just an admin cock-up.

I would have enjoyed playing with Spulk this bank holiday weekend but I got myself Planetary and Mighty Empires instead, so I'll try to prep and paint them instead.

I would imagine that the copies for the independents have been distributed to allow them to release at the same time as GW.

As I said they weren't aware of its popularity (models are a side line for them, they are bike shop!) and only ordered a couple on the off chance they would sell. I didn't even notice they had it until the old lady at the till noticed that I was buying a WD* (spulk cover) and she pointed it out! I would imagine they were oblivious to the release date.

* Dakka recommended this months issue and if the intawebz tell me then I must follow ! Oh the shame of it, it felt more embarrassing than buying porn!

Got my copy on the 29th and have probably played 9 Suicide missions so far with a couple friends taking turns being Nids and Termies. It definately represents its name.

You and about everyone else. I think ebay will be drowing in space hulk for the next few months and only a few people will be able to make back their money.

Yeah, it'll be the whole Black Reach Orks/Termiantors/Deff Koptaz thing all over again. Everyone saw a gold-mine of re-selling on bitz sites, but the market was flooded (and still is), meaning Black Reach stuff is pretty damn cheap still.

One of the stores near me only had 38 pre-orders and is getting 70 copies, so I'll probably pick up 2 more copies for some of the PDF Space Hulk missions that are so large they require 3 copies of Space Hulk to play.

I had the same thought but it looks it would be the Crux pad on most of them, so I just decided to use the Brass Etch instead and leave the pads as is.

Works for me, I would like another set of Terminators and couple more sets of the cardstock parts.

I've ordered a total of 3 complete sets.

Im opening all 3 sets. 2 of the sets im using to play with / spares.

the 3rd set im only removing the Terminators, closing the lid of the box, wrap it in plastic and then hide it deep deep down my dungeon.

Actually im only buyed this extra set for hacking/sawing/choping the miniatures. Im going to convert atleast a normal trooper with Thunder Hammer/Storm shield.
And then im going to convert a copy of the old old Terminator Captain miniatures (Storm bolter, Power Sword, Power fist w/grenade launcher).

I will try to make miniatures for using the 2nd edition Force lists, which i think was really really great.

Thinking about trying to make the Red Hidden blips also.
Anyone with decent photoshop ablilitys?
