Actually, you talked about "cure time", I just corrected you. Also applying a varnish over oil paints before it has fully cured will result in the paint cracking at a later date. Having used oil paints for years and also having been taught by a fully accomplished fine artist I know my materials when it comes to paint.

Well I've done this multiple times and cracks never happened to me, but whatever. I suppose the guys at FW should have been taught by your accomplished artist then.

So,that is how you get paint to splotch unevenly, I think most of mine have been beaten too much to bounce back but I may still have a few that would do it.

Local craft stores have bags of cheap quality inexpensive brushes that work great for this sort of thing. I have a collection of brushes like that.

Yeah, it's always good to pick up one of those big bags-o-cheap brushes whenever you see them on sale.

Air regulator? I got a really nice digital regulator at Harbor Freight Tools for less than $20, but if you get an analog, get one that has a BIG gague with PSI on top, and more precise at lower (airbrush) pressures.

I didn't get anything done tonight guys, A tee in the water pipes in the basement cracked and split open, thankfully we were home when it blew, I heard it, ran down and shut the water off. The Plumber just left, he had to build a whole new copper pipe tee section and solder it back on. Apparently they built the pipes from that point forward, putting all the tension of all the pipes in all the house on that one tee! 60 years later, the pressure was finally too much. Crisis averted.

They used Inferior Solder! If they would have used flanges and rivets, it would last 39 Millennia!

That's looking really good. And you know, it's SO huge, it could be terrain. Can you make a brace to attach a walkway to it?
