God dammit, every time I turn around it's another masterpiece from you. Knock it off already.

On a slightly less drowning-in-jealousy-and-envy note, I think the skin color of the cherub is my favorite part of the whole model. Which is saying a lot, because this is easily one of the best Inquisitor models I've ever seen. Next to her hair, his skin takes on a greenish tint, which is more perfect than anything I could have thought up. I'm actually somewhat grateful I've been so busy lately. Seeing you do all this stuff right means I'll be able to copy your good ideas when it comes to painting and get it done right the first time

For feth's sake, Peter, could your minis get any more amazing?! seriously, each new model is a masterpiece.

I really need to look into starting Inquisitor. I think a big part of what's been bogging down my inspiration for Necro is the confines of a gang warfare setting. While that's cool in it's own way, exploring the different characters of the greater 40k universe is really appealing for me, and you'be mastered that in spades with your unique cadre of characters here.

I really don't know what else to say without repeating what I've said before. Simply incredible work, all around. It's a true inspiration and you should be extremely proud of your efforts. You've raised the bar substantially.

That Inquisitrix Callydia Benadice is absolutely beautiful.
The conversion is so flawless and it's not too obvious, which is exactly what makes it look so awesome.
It looks like a stock GW model only 10 times better.
Great Work man!

Well, I purchased my first White Dwarf in a good long while and the Blanchitsu article was showcasing the Chaos Nurgle Lord, and conversion made from the model. And who do I find staring back at me? None other than Planetary Governor Daven Kel-Rosber!

Congrats on having the model showcased in WD, and in a Blanchitsu article, no less! JRN's was showcased as well, which was really cool.

Oh, and I changed my username from Cadaver, in case you were confused...

Benadice is gorgeous!
The cherub is still my favorite part of her.
Daring combination of colors, but again somehow harmonic.
The metallics seem a little sloppy in the pics, but knowing your usual approach, I'm sure they a nowhere near as flat in the flesh.

Oh, don't get me wrong: JRN's piece was fantastic (as per usual), but I just felt like you actually did the most with the model, while all the others kept fairly close to the original, diseased look. Anyway, one of the best articles in the issue. Why can't they do stuff like that more often?

Agreed I was suprised by how hobby related this article was ( in a WD not possible! ) and I agree PDH's was definatly the most creative/my favorite, followed by the daemon host

Nothing to interesting regarding the name change. Just trying to get a username that is uniform across a few sites for some upcoming projects I'd like to pursue. I've got to finish my 40k army first, but I want to try and start doing charity projects.

As I said, he looked great! I literally did a double take when I flipped to page and saw him haha!

Gotta gives props to Jakob too. I love his work and I follow his blog regularly, but I still firmly hold to my opinion that The Governor, along side the Mutie tracker are probably 2 of my favorite miniatures ever. They are the type of models that send me straight to the workshop to get building. Truly inspiring to see what it looks like to be at the top of your game.

It's in the most recent UK one, not sure if they are different in the US. I almost got into a conversation with the GW staff about it but then I just realised what I was about to do and got out of there quickly instead.

Confirmed! US White Dwarf

Man, Peter...this made me a bit teary-eyed I have to admit. You have to understand, these pictures in White Dwarf, and the pictures of the Studio Terrain have been the strong motivation for me all of these 15+ years in this hobby. This kind of thing will LAST in people's memories now. This is HUGE! ..And one of our OWN too, PDH!
For me, getting my work published like that is my all-time goal with this hobby, let alone "Impressing" one of my heroes like you did!
