Got the book.
Guilty for supporting bad behaviour of GW.
Promised myself I will never get a FAQ you pay for ever again.
I justify this with myself thinking this is one of their "mistakes" and they will clue in next time.
Problem is if too many people are like me they may use this as the new gold standard and we would have to pay a subscription to rules updates next time. I can see it now: you have to pay to get rules upgrades over your less wealthy opponents.

It is no where to be found on its site. Any links that exist send you back to the main page.
You probably missed this as it's burried on the previous pages, it's because the 2nd print run is sold out in the USA
It will be back on the site when more copies arrive again
That's weird. Why not simply slap the Sold Out image on it like the Limited Edition Codex/Army Books, instead of removing it altogether?
Presumably because it's not sold out in the same way a LE codex is, but is going to come back in stock (but far enough into future that they don't want orders in the interim)

I lol'd. We should definitely make sure we do our performance reviews previous to purchasing anything.
All of that matrial should have been released in white dwarf, say three issues. I would have purchased three WD for that info, but I guess they don't want rules related info getting in the way of their adds in WD.
Wait, so it is okay for $30.00 but not for $33? That extra $3 and more durable form really kicked it for you?
Darn autocorrecting.
Self review before purchase. Maybe not a bad idea when buying plastic crack.
I know, it sounds odd, but sometimes WD had something in addition to whatever article I wanted that helped soften the blow of paying for it.
For $33 it should have at least come with a cool book mark to hold the spot for the important pages!

No no, he's right, it's pages. You would get one page AND the one opposite it. And GW would only charge you 10% more for that second page

Fafnir wrote:Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

Breaking News: "Death from the Skies" gone, you heard it from faeit212 first!
Natfka wrote:Dead: Death From the Skies

It appears that Death from the Skies is dead and gone. A couple readers have sent in emails that it is gone from the GW site, and I myself could not find it anywhere. Of course the book is not necessarily needed for the game, and for collectors, well, it could be a hot one with it no longer available.
The book looks likes its gone.
I may be missing something here but upon inspection it would seem that Death from the Skies is nowhere to be found on GW's website any longer... ? Just thought that was really strange.
I was on GW tonight looking for the death from the skies book, was just looking and thinking about it and I can't find it anywhere or any mention of the book itself
Give him a day until he posts the next breaking news that he figured out that it is currently out of stock in North America only.
Too bad he never reads rumour threads, just posts them.

GW's policies with erasing products from history reminds me of what Stalin used to do to cronys he didnt like anymore:

Amusing. Is there a Godwin-type rule for Stalin'ing someone?
Also, GW didn't erase anything from history with DFTS. It is already back.
