For us Aussies looks like its possible Imperium might be coming to Australia sometime in 2022, I've noticed that Waterfront News & Lotto now has an Imperium section listed on their website with the claim that its coming soon.
https://www.waterfrontnews.com.au/collections/warhammer-imperium
I haven't brought from them before, but they're one of the only stores i know down here that sell these magazines online. they stocked Conquest during its run and are currently selling Mortal Realms which gives me hope they might know some rough details of what's happening with Imperium.
Also I've never noticed that the UK Imperium issues have AU and NZ prices listed next to the barcode. Surprised the price hasn't gone up at all but i guess they could always just slap a sticker over it.

You can order individual issues of Hachettes site providing they're available.

No, don't believe so. I've never ordered off their site myself, but it looks like any other webstore.

Not sure if they'll send to down here though.

Unfortunately they seem to not have any for order on that site, ever, unlike the previous run. Notice that they're 99% marked as sold out, it always just turns from Coming soon to Sold out w/o any opportunity to buy (except for issue 1).

IIRC, Hachette also isn't the one distributing in other countries where it's available. The US version is using Agora Models(through their new Agora Collections), for example. The Imperium "section" on their site just redirects to the GW Imperium site.

Conquest, and I think Mortal Realms too, was not always one paint issue in every four certainly.
So yeah could be.

I must admit that Angryboy's point, that went over my head, is that there is only one Tomb Blade in he picture therefore they must only be one per issue.

Well, I accidentally bought a couple of copies of #22 on a whim without realising it was part 2 of 2 and not 10 minis.
Can I still make something useful out of it, or is it the case that I'll be missing some vital piece for each mini only found on the issue #21 sprue?
They're nice minis, I'm thinking of making a stargrave or necromunda warband out of the two issues if possible, if not on to eBay they go.

If you’ve got a local Newsagent, maybe have a chat and see if they can order in on an issue by issue basis?
I’ve no idea if that’s possible in the U.K., let alone Australia, but seems worth a punt?

I've known UK Newsagents do it but they tend to get pissy about it when you want 6 of one issue then none for 8 issues.

A bit speculative, but with the talk of them overlapping another AoS with the 40k one towards the end, I can't really even see what armies they'd do tbh, as there isn't really the amount of cheap kits available now the Nighthaunt and Stormcast have gone? I guess there is a bunch of Khorne stuff they could use as the basis for a Chaos army, but I've no idea who they'd be able to match them with

A lot of the necron kits in the magazine aren't cheap either. The majority are regular kits that have been around for ages, there's only a smaller amount of the newer stuff (esp once you take out core things like warriors).

Probably the Lumineth kits vs Vampires. Both had recent army updates.

Vampires would be interesting since they are supposed to get a lot through Cursed City and its expansions - which is making a welcome return.

Stormcast vs. Kruleboyz is extremely likely for the new AoS partwork I'd say, dominion happened so it's the logical conclusion.
I'd love to see a specialist game get a partwork, necromunda would be perfect.
Something like 6 issues per gang (2x gang sprue, 2x specialists sprue, 1x upgrade sprue, 1x tactics cards) and then a load of terrain and other bits to fill it out would be amazing.
It would have to be a little less "baby's first minis" in its approach, probably more like the excellent MESBG partwork where the magazine was something worth reading.

Thing is the Necromunda Gangs only have two or three plastic sprue to their name per gang. So even if you put one in at steep discount there isn't as much to profit off. Meanwhile an army like Necrons has a lot of models not in the magazine; a lot that you can profit off the sale of due to all the additional necron armies that got started

Vampires is a good shout, especially with the Cursed City stuff. I was thinking Khorne/Chaos due to the old starter set, but I just don't think they go Stormcast again as I don't think there's enough stuff that wasn't in the first one. Dominion is surely a bit too new to really entice anyone into buying those figures? (maybe I'm wrong) I always just assumed (with no real research to back it up) that they mainly went for older, cheaper sprues like the Souls Wars stuff, rather than their new stuff like Lumineth, but it would be interesting if they did really push interest in one of their newer armies

I mean it isn’t gonna be the brand spanking new cool armies.
Just the edition armies.
Stormcast and Kruleboyz, spreading into wider Orruks probably.
I don’t know why it would be anything different from Conquest, Mortal Realms, Imperium.
They all just use the editions starter armies. Automatically Appended Next Post: In answer to not going for new.
Necrons was like the newest non SM army when Imperium started.
Nighthaunt we’re only 2-3 years by that point of even existing as that edition came a little before the magazine.
I’d love for it to be Vampires, but your reasoning of too new holds exactly the same for Cursed City. They won’t split all that up when it’s coming in a big expensive box in the coming months.
But as with the other runs, they likely have made so much with those starter editions armies that it is nothing to make up a bundle more.

It'll definitely be Stormcast. I'd have thought it would be Kruleboyz too, but I guess the Gloomspire Gitz probably have enough easy to assemble models that they'd kind of work too.

Looking at how things went for Imperium,, it might be the newish Stormcast plus a few other kits to form a combined Order army, versus Kruleboyz, 'Ardboys and Savage Orruks. They might even throw in some other Destruction factions
