That added "leg length" makes it looks much better than the usual pattern...

I might have to try this, one day...

Your greenstuff work is absolutely phenomenal pal.

Sadly I've run out of lunch break browsing time, though look forward to checking out the rest of your work later this week.

Keep it up, looking forward to seeing what else you have to do

Thanks guys, nice to hear you like it.
I have done a greater daemon now Kitch. I will just show you with a bad photo how big I made him. And also, I don't know if the hood is meeh or yay. And also the green on the shoulder.

The cloak looks cool, but I agree that the hood is a little off. What head is under there? Perhaps you could try removing the top part to make it 'gangsta style', or removing the bottom and making it nightbringer hood style, if you want it to remain a hood.

I like the idea of the hood, but I think you should extend his hood way back into a cone. Then bend the hood so it looks limp. The draped arm adds some bulk to his upper torso and making his head appear longer and thinner will add some "creepy" to him. I like how big he is though.
I think, the shoulder may look a little more realistic with bigger/larger folds in the cloth where it wraps around the shoulder, opposed to the numerous small ones. It looks like its wrapped fairly tight and adding larger folds would just make it look looser. The alternative would be to continue the small lines down the length of his arm gradually spacing and softening them.
I hope that makes sense. I like it though and definitely am excited to see where you go with it.

Sure !!!

The only detail that bothers me is the head, though I'm not sure why... Maybe it's too small ? Maybe the orientation ? The Forgefiend hand also looks a bit "frail", compared to the rest of the model... Is there any left hand of the Lord of Skulls kit ?

His right arm seems too short to actually be effective with that axe - but then that's something that just bugs me about the original kit anyway!

It doesn't look like he'd be able to hit anyone on the ground without bending over double.

I think the Maulerfiend hand looks fine, I think the only reason it appears smaller as it has no wrist, which the left hand has. I also think the arm looks fine, it comes down just beyond the waist. So while it could be a tiny bit longer I think that's close enough. This guy will be fighting other superheavies and tanks, puny infantry would most likely be ground beneath his feet. This he best version of the Lord of Skulls I've seen. Are you planning on putting any of the blood vats on his back, perhaps like a flamer tank backpack?

i always rationalized the short arms with them only being used on equally sized enemies. everything below knee height can just be stomped flat.

the model is looking nice and solid. do you know how it compares to a dreadknight, sizewise?

Pretty much all of your work is uniformly excellent, Q0orbin, but this Lord of Skulls conversion is truly something else! One of the first walker conversions of the kit that I actually like! And closing that bellycannon barrel the way you did is a really inspired idea!

Oh, and while I am a huge fan of the Khornate headdress on the standard model, I really like the sleeker silhouette created by leaving those bunny ears off.

Truly inspiring work, mate!

Haha sorry but you have to live with that head Yggs
. No there is none left hand in that kit.
And that shoulder cannon is not from nurgle, it is made as a gatling cannon.

Thanks rain but that is only his pose, he has his arm back so it looks like the arm is smaller.

Thanks medium, nice to hear that you like him. No there will be no vats. But he has some powerchimneys on the back. And I will also be some chains and some cloins and skulls, of course.

maybe 1,5 dreadknight or double the dreadknight.

And of course I couldn't keep my hands away to do my first ever diplay model, He's not finished yet will be soon. Meet Lord Halh
And here is some inspiring qoute for the abyssal silhouttes
