anyone in the Northern Virginia area who does comission painting??

Hi, I am not an official painting company and do not have set pricing but I am a very hard working and skilled painter, I am a student and therefore may take longer to finish armies but do not require a huge sum of money to paint your miniatures.

Anyone interested can PM me to arrange pricing, paint scheme and find the ideal transaction for them. Small commissions are welcome but not individual characters or very small units.

I'm not the world's fastest painter, nor am I the cheapest, but I've got a wide selection of painting and modeling skills and I excel at communicating with my customers and keeping them up-to-date on their jobs.

I offer two levels of paintjob quality: Trooper and Hero. Trooper level is above-tabletop level work, and is aimed at getting eye-catching, clean, and attractive paintjobs for a low cost and timely turnaround. Hero level is display level work - I pull out all the stops when working on these models. Blended highlights, smooth OSL, crisp details, NMM, blood-and-gore, painted eyes, battle damage, dirt and dust effects...Basically, whatever it takes to make these models shine under the closest scrutiny. And finally, I ship all models in industrial-grade pluck foam trays with foam sheets and bubble wrap, so you can be content in the knowledge that I'm doing everything I can to ensure the safety of your models!

Here at Big Dog Miniatures we are perfectionists and pride ourselves on providing beautifully painted miniatures for gaming or display purposes. We will never dispatch a miniature we are not happy with and focus on quality, attention to detail and customer service. As a general guideline a single 28-32mm heroic scale infantry miniature painted to our gaming standard will usually cost between £5.00 and £10.00 depending on the level of detail on the miniature. This price is just a guideline however and can vary considerably depending on the size or level of detail of a specific model and whether extensive freehand work, weathering or special paint effects require to be applied. We can also provide conversion and modelling services for truly unique miniatures.

Hi, Ricki here from Basilisk Studios, I'm now open to taking UK Commissions for painting. Ive been a huge fan of wargaming since my early teens and returned the hobby about five years ago, since which I have been avidly painting and improving my skills.
