That is the most absurd titan THING I've yet seen. A freaking psi-titan. The next thing they put out will just be a giant cube whose every facing has the number 6 on it. Its special rules are "if you deploy this cube, you win the game".

They are still mostly Human.. More than machine. Unlike the servitors that are hard wired into the machine they still are Men! I hang with some real Marines. Stories I can't tell.

Ok maybe only the nerdfest picture then.

Hmm... Pinup I dont think will work for the doors... It just doesnt seem "right" for the flavor of the thing... The nerdo pic, on the other hand....

I think that some sort of mechanicus icon would work... Think I can find something from the Knight decals that would work... I was also thinking of something more industrial label-esque. Maybe like a band of color and block numbers?

Started on the gold trim- Same as the Warhound, Im using Vallejo Alcohol Old Gold. Then Im gonna hit it with a bunch of washes to knock the color down

Yeah, that trim on a lot of these models is a chore to paint, isn't it? I have been learning that while painting all these Chaos models. But you gotta admit, the final result is worth the effort!

Got to say that colour scheme is looking absolutely stunning, the flat black and gold are amazing. Must be close to a pot of gold there? Probably not, but it looks like an awful lot of gold.

It's like batch painting an army, but it's just one model. It is the points equivalent of a whole army. When you think about it like that, it still sucks.

@Zerg: The trim is less difficult than it is time consuming! Maaaaaan does it take a while to get everything base coated... Im hoping that it doesn't take as long to wash them. The black I can be ever so slightly more messy with, but the white needs a light touch...

@Cam: Thanks!! You aren't too far off, actually... I started with a full pot of the Vallejo Old Gold and now Im down to about 1/6 of a bottle... Very very likely the whole bottle will be gone by the end of this...

what's the plan going forward.. are you starting to assemble yet?

Assembly is done for now. Its all in subassemblies right now.

Currently the plan is in two parts. Part one is all these armor plates, Part 2 is the metals and guns and such, which at this stage need to be sprayed with wash (slated for Thursday). After both elements are complete, I can combine them and start final assembly.

Started washing the parts last night, and it shouldn't take nearly as long as basing the golds. Got all 8 toe pistons single washed. Love this color~
