Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

I am also planning on running some DC in my IG. Fluff wise they are beginning to be consumed by the red thirst, so they are put into death company armor and sent to die for the emperor led by chaplains and reclursarchs. They take them on crazy assaults and suicide missions. If they live the battle, the chaplain does them a favor and finishes them off.
Thats what I will be using mine for, crazy assaults guard can no longer handle as well. And Ive always wanted a dreadnought, the DC one will be fun to use.

Death company as a rule of thumb turn up to the thickest fighting in which a Blood angels force is participating. They throw themselves selflessly at the most desperate of situations in the hope of finding peace from the black rage. I love them, but fluff wise they do stick with their own rather than turn up randomly. If your wanting random go with the Legion of the Damned. Edit: The reason for them sticking with their own is that their governing body is Astorath the Grimm, reclusiarch of the Blood angels and death company, and his Chaplains. they all report to him and he reports to Dante the golden disco ball...

Thanks Paul Automatically Appended Next Post: Reminded me of Lewis Tully
Louis Tully: Your Honor, ladies and gentleman of the audience, I don't think it's fair to call my clients frauds. Sure, the blackout was a big problem for everybody. I was trapped in an elevator for two hours and I had to make the whole time. But I don't blame them. Because one time, I turned into a dog and they helped me. Thank you. Egon: Very good, Louis. Short, but pointless.

Well the kits a very good, if a bit limited in number of poses (hacking and slashing required for unique poses). I'd say if you have the desire to change things up a bit, go for it! The LE version even has 3 DA hqs, lots of choice there.

Thanks Paul, I guess your the only one left interested in my thread.
Oh well...
My issue has been motivation mixed with No time. I keep thinking of things to try to jump start my passion again .
I have been thinking on converting a couple of Stormtalons into Imperial fighters. I was inspired by Rogue Wolves thread. Hopefully one day I'll have something worth while to show.. Thanks for visiting and thanks Paul for your input!

I'm guessing it's some kind of seasonal thing (don't ask which seasons from where though), I've recently come back after a couple of months off and I'm seeing a lot of the guys I follow going through a drop-off too. Motivation-wise and thus model-wise as well. Unless there's an alien invasion fleet overhead draining the world's creativity I'm sure we'll see a rise again soon.

I agree w/ monkeytroll. This time of year is terrible. The death of my season (summer) looms and my spirit journey formation anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks. As the days grow darker, so does my mood. On top of that I've had some IRL issues that haven't been resolved yet.
Ugh.
However, I know that life is AWESOME and that I'm a very (very) lucky man. Briancj succinctly put into perspective when he was visiting this summer and I haven't forgotten that. I'm generally a happy person and once I make the adjustment to the shorter and colder days (around November usually) I'll shift back into high gear hobby-wise because it'll be terrible outside and I'll be inside a lot. Perfect excuse to model from 6pm to 2-3 am. Ha.

Well, done again, what did you do to win
I have volume one of this and I have to say it is a pretty dam good book, most of GW so called painting guides are well lets say poor at least.
This I found informative, descriptive and pretty easy to follow "nice change to say the least ".
I have bought a few help books for idea's and guides and I found this to be one of the better ones, I will be getting volume 2
Although I have to say the converting 2 Stormtalons into IG fighters sounds like fun

I think you need a super heavy tank, just sayin. Or a fort of redemption. Or you could grab a dark vengence and and extra terminator box, rock 1000ish points of DA allies. Or a thunderbolt and an avenger fighter. Or the RoB tile from FW. So many good choices!
