GCT is having a painting competition, these are my entries (50 rice army and random figure). I'm mainly going tor the 10-pound "luck" prize. I've seen some of the other painters out there and they put me to shame.

The only thing I wuold find any fault with is the eyes. Everything else is absolutely great.

I'm not sure how the pics got so yellow. Mist be an issue with the monitor on my little lap-top. They looked normal on there... but here and in the pics that were re-posted by GCT (didn't win anything... they just re-posted all the entries)... yech!

Don't knock your work down Gits, you've painted some great minis over the years, and you're an inspiration when it comes to evolving and improving as a painter. That's one nice-looking bunch of rice you got there!

Just uploaded a very short video taken at the grand opening of Noble Knight games in Fitchburg (south Madison) showing off the crowd and the demo table.

Well a free miniature is a great incentive and doesn’t break their bank, but rewards both the subscriber and you (their advertising executive ).

If you hear from them tell them to check their email as I haven’t had any follow up from me trying to contact them about my Black Friday order .

@Nerdy: Thanks! Yeah, gaming takes a lot more work around the edges when you're dealing with a game with a small footprint (as opposed to GW games, which are everywhere).


New video is up! Have my friend Evan on the channel for the first time with his brand new Ito Clan. They're unpainted at this point but I wanted to get him on as he's a good player and he's got one of the new tiny snakes! Hopefully Ben Rislove will get those Ito painted for him soon (not sure how Evan made this arrangement originally... but it's a good deal if you can get it).

Somehow I missed your update , probably saw it but couldn’t watch the video at the time and forgot to come back to it. Good game, I’ve looked at the ito clan and wondered how effective poison would be, seems pretty useful.

The new rules are up on the website, I haven’t had a chance to print them out yet, hopefully tomorrow. Looks like points wise cards are going way up, wonder if that’s to make it look more like other games with a base 100 point game.

Hope Christmas and the new year were good to you . I saw something in the store today that might help you with terrain for your Bushido tournament. The Forbidden Fortress:gateway into madness set, I picked up a set of it today at Miniaturemarket. You get 4 plastic Tori gates and 4 plastic demon gates for $25 before discount https://www.miniaturemarket.com/ffp07t02.html here’s a picture of one with my monk on turtleback for size reference.

I’ve primed all 4 tori gates by brush and have base coated one just now. Hope it helps out .
