Aha! I found my insult/praise
I actually agree that it was a bad choice of name I made on the spur of the moment by mashing two nicknames together in an unpleasing way - but its too late to change it now I guess.
I enjoyed hearing how you started painting - funnily enough thats exactly how I started - my parents bought me and my sis a box of plastic skeletons because we saw them in a shop window and gothic was the in thing at the time.

Great chat there Iffy. Was the vid supposed to cut you off mid sentance at the end? Seemed a little odd.
I thought the high pitced noises sounded like a Parrot or some form of bird.

Haha it's to do with how G-hangout uploads as you stream supposedly, you have to not stop it till a couple of seconds have passed or it stops the upload a bit before it has cought up, it's also why the beginning starts randomly without our hello and /wave we did.

Jay's son has a love bird, I thought it was a budgie myself. My squeeky pigs were shockingly quiet considering they were only just out of camera view.

I hadn't the occasion to watch the whole video yet since it's a bit long (I saw this this morning during breakfast and had to go ^^ ). But I have to say that your Irish accent is nice.
I'm not a native English speaker but you are really easy to understand for me, and that's really pleasant.
I like how the jugger and his rider look. The red armour looks great, the color is rich and vibrant. I love this !

Proper pigs are great fun.
I was messing around with that colour doodad and i almost gave myself a seizure spinning the wheel round with the brightest colours. My eyes are really sore.

Ireland is beautiful...but I saw the west coast. I almost didn't leave, if I hadn't of already paid for my schooling which was about to start I would probably still be there today. Next time I will venture on to Dublin town.
Everyone wears PJ's like a Walmart fashion statement around here too, it's a fad I don't get.
I still need to watch the rest of the video, but seeing Jay Adan's name in your thread title caught my attention. I know Jay, I used to work with him at Cyberlore and have occasion to visit Greenfield Games once in a while. So if you want me to collect an autograph or toenail clippings or something for you just let me know. He is a great guy and a fantastic painter, his stuff looks amazing in person.

Haha, so do I small world, especially out here in Western Mass. We did a D&D night with Stokes for a while. I had no idea what was going on, but it was a great story arc. I really miss Cyberlore, I'd be working there today if I could.
If anyone is out here in WesternMass, be sure to stop by Jay's store Greenfield Games. The shops are great, and there are glass cabinets where you can see his work. If I lived a bit closer I'd be there all the time.

Jay I was just thinking about how working at Cyberlore got me to finally jump into 40k. I remember the first time I went to your shop at an auction, and you talked me out of buying a Necron Battleforce as my first army because I was going on n00b intuition (coolest looking models) I had these grand plans for an Iron Maiden themed army, too. It's very similar to the way Ifalna got started, but with robot skeletons.

Speaking of auctions, when is the next one Jay?
I think the reason I was looking at 40k even was that Erik (my boss at Cyberlore) talked about Dawn of War all the time. So when I wasn't playing games, I was looking it up. Accidentally came across Grandfather Nurgle and became intrigued. It wasn't long after you suggest I research armies and I came across Lost and the Damned. I asked about the army when I finally plucked up the courage to go into GW, and they advised that I switch gears to CSM...because it was easier. Anyone else remember the 3.5 codex? It wasn't easier than Lost and the Damned! I got CSM, looked up conversions...and found Orks. Orks and more Orks for years! I've finally come full circle, and have a Death Guard themed Lost and The Damned style army I'm working on now
Here's to hoping I don't ADD into Necrons...

Ifalna - we didn't have any proper paint so we did their weapons and armour with those gold and silver marker pens you can get, and some red poster paint for blood.
