The solution to my missile not being long enough was found amoungst the bits of the Shadowsword Sprue, and fits like MAGIC. I love having bitz.
Thankfully, a store in the UK sells JUST THIS ONE BIT. Took a bit of searching to find it, but enough to extend all six missiles are on their way, along with some more shells and a Baneblade crew. Just 'cause if I'm going to order from the UK, I might as well make it worth the shipping cost. 
The shells will be used in a future project, tentatively titled 'Brian builds a full interior for a Leman Russ'. Regretfully, to do this project correctly, I need an OLD SCHOOL Leman Russ. Like, really old school.
Sigh.

Digression: I found an original, boxed, OOP Leman Russ, with decals and flags and original 'accessories' sprue for a reasonable price. It has been purchased.

Just encountered this thread, and all I have to say is that's it's pretty super awesome. The interiors of the tanks are especially cool, as well as the highly individual guardsmen and the longer Leman Russ. Run on sentence? Yes. Deserved? Yes. And now, this huge Golgotha... that's really cool, especially in light of that other shown Golgotha made of a baneblade, the missile launcher, and a fancy paint job. Your's is already turning out to be so much cooler. I can't wait till this monstrosity is completed.
By the way, if you were still looking for the rules side of the Golgotha, while same table fighting might not be too handy (except with a huge board), you could have it as the objective in a scenario where it's firing its missiles one at a time and must be stopped, lest another battle have constant death raining. Just a possibility, though.

Thanks, K! Yeah, this is really more of a display piece than anything else. I mean, the Ordinatii are all designed for a specific purpose, if you read the fluff, so mine should be no different. I am looking at the Badab War era, due to my Adepitcon's team theme, so I'm building a slightly "Upgunned" Golgotha, designed to plow it's way into a fortified area, and then launch.
It'll be crewed by Tyrant Legion ad AdMech.
And it'll have a disco.

Gentlemen, as you know, our business is Rivets...and business is GOOD.
The madness starts.
Rivets, rivets, rivets, and some rivets. Need a smaller rod, but you go with what you've got.
Aside from some treads, the trak-tor is done. Twin-linked Lascannon in the Turret, two twin-linked hull-mounted Heavy Bolters. Yes, the Turret swivels, and the lascannons elevate.

I added some engine exhaust tubes, smoke launchers, and a comms array to the tractor, plus some tow hooks, and then put on all the treads. NOW she's finished, and ready to haul some heavy metal around the tabletop.

@Dysartes: Yes, I put smoke launchers on an Ordinatus. Since the tractor can detach, I figure I'd be nice to the crew, and give them a chance to run away.
@Gits: The HB's don't elevate (although I probably could have...), just the lascannons in the turret.
@Flinty: I dunno. I'll have to build a shelf JUST TO STORE IT. No, but seriously, the whole thing separates into four pieces, and I'll kit out a cardboard box and foam for it.

PS: @Randy, I do have those 'fuel barrels' from the superheavies, I could make wet navy destroyer-like "Depth Charge" launchers, except they'd chuck SMOKE BARRELS...
