Questions:

Now that you see the behemoth: Does it count as a Leman Russ in your eyes?

What next? the GBP is costing less (due to the heavy Euro and the British devaluating their money) so I'm thinking about ordering some stuff.

- If they would count as LR: Two more?
- Finally some big artillery?
- Second Engineer-Team with a second drill?
- More infantry with a Gorgon to bring them to the front?

You're right. I guess it'll be artillery in general. I think I'll make both the Thudd Gun and Heavy Mortar batteries complete and order the first Medusa and Earthshaker guns.

btw., I just noticed:

1950 points fully painted and ready to play!

Next thing to paint is a Thudd Gun or Heavy Mortar => 2000 pts

Definitely counts as a LR in my opinion. I'd say get more siege stuff, but my love of even numbers and things in pairs screams for an additional tank.

I would have no problem counting that as a LR. Making something bigger is usually a disadvantage...

Also, add my vote for artillery! Whoo hoo!

Ah I ment to ask, Thudd Guns or Heavy Mortar? Especially considering the Thudd Gun doesn't have the slow firing rule anymore.

Why not both? I was planning to build a full 4 gun Thudd gun battery AND a full 4 gun Heavy Mortar battery. If I field both full would be another question, though.

And what do you mean, there's now slow rate of fire rule anymore? Where did you read that?

Interesting, thanks. So the Heavy Mortar isn't allowed to re-roll the scatter dice anymore (FAQ #9). :(

Hades hasn't moved to elite as far as I know.

Now you mentionned Grenadiers, how do you use them? I had very little success with them except when they're on the defensive (killed a Broodlord and his Genestealers as well as a squad of Zerkers that were both going for the Relic)

On the name: I added the decal from the Chimera decal set.
It means "Iron Grave" and in the German Panzerlied there's a verse:

"When we are hit by the deadly bullet [..] our tank becomes our iron grave."
("Trifft uns die Todeskugel [..] dann wird unser Panzer ein ehernes Grab.")

I think that fits quiet right into the atmosphere of the Death Korps, always expecting death.

Bob, do you have the book? I heard that Engineers with Hades were Elite know.
As for the Grenadiers, I wasn't really lucky with them, yet. But what I wanted to try was using a Centaur with 5 Grenadiers, two of them with flamers and two with a heavy flamer. I'd call it "The Torch".

Some French guy underestimated my ability to google my images to see where they were posted. (Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people posting my photos on the internet - just direct them to one of my threads.) From what I could see/translate he was posting as if this was his army ("mon Death korps").

I do hate it when people claim to have painted miniatures when in fact they've just stolen images from the net, I've seen this happen to quite a few excellent painters.
