Hooray for extreme self criticism! I will try not to let it get me down, after all there is a limit to what can be done with human hands and eyes. I think the tiny mistakes look more interesting than pixels anyway.

Extra pixels are great weety, but you may learn to hate them. They allow more mistakes to show through. I have anyway...

as a matter of fact... i really do like giving criticism... and even more so... it got me aquainted with so many peeps here... as a i think a true critic ( the constructive sort) has to do one thing beforehand ... really look at the thing... this is attention you give to peeps... and peeps always like that...

We are in the business of splitting hairs. If it wasn't for macro photography I would be daubing the paint on with a blunt twig. But its part of what I love about miniatures, arguing over details which are invisible to the human eye.

If we're going to be picky looks like the shading above the straps on his right temple looks a bit thick (size-wise that is, I'd never acuse you of not thinning your paints proper like )

And if we are going for uber crit then I just noticed that he has a lumpy bottom lip and a massive pimple on his nose. But we can put that down to random mutations!

It's not his fault he dribbles his food down his clothes, he has got that bumpy lip after all.

this lattest one is really cool weety! nice lenses too, what colors did you use for that?

The lenses are just a vallejo blue wash over a carefully graded black and white background. The main trench coat colours are grey with just a dash of purple in it and an aqua green called "dusty green" from anita's all purpose acrylic line (not great paints but I really love the colour) in it. Most of the paints I used on him are vallejo wash paints. Best paints in the world and from what remember marginally cheaper than citadel. I should do another step by step photo essay sometime.

This is the mercenary outfit's token beastman. Originally named Gorden Freebeast, but none of his comrades bother to remember his name. They variously call him "goat-face", "daggy-ass" or "stink-horn" but Gorden does not take to much offense as he knows the other mercs are just as bestial as himself and they are all a bunch of filthy animals so he fits right in.

Gorden has long been a victim of prejudice, he and his people where hounded into ghettos on their home-world for being scary looking and (supposedly) lusting after normal women. A mercenary life is Gorden's ticket out of the beastman ghetto and he is always looking to get ahead. One day he hopes to return home and settle some scores

good looking beastman... ??? no seriously good looking... and even based...wonderful...and the lil piece of fluff was a fun to read!
