LOL...tried to explain my wife that the tau is a fish face... but she didn´t realy see it that way ...

Actually, Tau are flat faced lizards who are evolving mammalian features, like dinosaurs did, based on evidence found to support feathers/hairs/etc.

I did pose a Ork for a friend holding his sluggas like a John Woo film character.

I come back and there's Xenos everywhere.

That scheme really lends itself well to the firewarrior armour with the blue skin to make it pop a bit.

now that is something i didn´t think of... i could have cut off and reglued those hands on both arms... for that gangsta style wielding thing....

I like the deep green shade/ink/wash..very nice!
but his trouser stitches..
try beige, or off-white then wash it like the skin with brown or black..it'll be easier than you thought

These guys are looking good for a band of odd merc brothers

so mateys...

today we went shopping for a bit of hobby related furniture...

yeah... my mancave/hobby desk got a serious upgrade...

we bought again some pieces of ikea ivar...and then combined the lot with a 0.80x 2 meters worth of MDF board... thus creating quite a big surface and accompanied shelfspace...

i think i can create quite a bit of magic here... the whole desk is rather raised...i think this might work well and even allow me a bit of a better sitting position when painting and modeling?

well as there isn´t anything else to show... here is what is atm not virgin anymore but just for you in mint condition^^:









tomorrow i will settle down in all the available space with my hobby stuff... and i am itching to start with my entry for the "we are not worthy" -comp of the league of extraordinary riveters competition hold by meade...

thans monkey!... it was needed... and so to speak it was "ordered" by the wife as i work in the living room...and a certain tidyness is always wanted by her... so she was all for a bit of organized chaos^^

All you got to do is get the misses to buy you a load of stuff to feel the shelving now LOL Looks pretty well laid out plus you can get some serious hobby time in

Ooh, shiny and new but sadly empty - go fill it up Vik, needs some well placed paint stains, rivets, hazard tape along the edges and more rivets...

Just make sure the central board has some good support timbers, mdf is sort of funny and weak like that.

would love to add some hazard stripes to the setup...but i fear my lady would go ballistic on me... wouldn´t match the overall terracotta feel of the living room ...

i think you are right... some supportive structure is sure something that will ensure that i can work safley on my projects...

well... i had that before too... but no i have everything sorted and at the right place instead all ontop of everything and you had to crawl through heaps of whatever^^...

Yeah, I think it's important to be able to get to all of your supplies and tools from the working position.
