Flyer is looking good. Looking forward to it in it's full steampunky glory.
One teeny tiny suggestion, Are you going to extend the engine housing beyond the fans so they are inside the engine? They are more turbo-prop than jet engine at the mo...even if they are steampunk electro-wossname-levitation engines.

Gondola armour looking good too.
And the propeller for that looks great.

hmmm...not sure i follow you here... but the fans are inside the engines atm... ? not deep enough?... could be... they have a strong jet vibe tho...at least that was what i was going for...

Yeah, not quite deep enough for me. Feel free to ignore me but if you look from the side:

You can still see the blades
And if you look at a modern day jet engine:

I'm not suggesting making them that deep, but just to extend the body of the engine a little beyond the blades (it actually helps a jet engine work more efficiently, I know that's real life thinking, but that's me).

It's cool whatever you do though.

at first i thought it looked like it had the scale of a stormtalon. but then you showed a mysterious peice and call it the rudder!
i mean, that peice was big as hell!
oh well, to big to to be the rudder of an aircraft in the size of a stormtalon anyways

No worries Vik. The one Col. model I would do the eyepatch and Beret on for my uniformed special guy, but I did like the one General mini and will paint him up in my usual style as my Gen. Zhuikov

Vik was getting to the end of the school year, I figure he's spending time studying, and end of year projects for himself and kids. Also I think they just had Father's Day so might be doing family stuff.....or he's glued himself to the table again and can't reach the phone or computer.

Hence why my computer table is also my oh so cluttered work space

hello boys and girls...

daddy is back!

well... actually i haven´t been away at all... i was feeling a bit low the last coupla days... felt not able to join in the banter... so i sticked to lurking...

but now i am feeling better again and here i am...er... i think you are more intersted in updates, eh?... cruel crowd anyways^^

for such a nice bunch of acolytes daddy has some nice updates...

the airship got some serious addition.... the gondola got hexagon front windows and nice portholes on the sides... and also i am about to finish the problem of how to attach the rudder to the gondola...

and then some more work on the flyers steampunk potential...
