here you can join the new comp ...this time it is called "the throne" ...which should portray all stuff around the bodily wastes we all have to get rid of each day... so if I say this comp might cause a shitstorm... then that´s quite likely in a very real sense of the word

so... I have quite a planned out idea... and I already worked on it the last two days...

which brings us to the first WIP pics of my endeavours...

dunno if the term "dixi" toilet is used in the English language area...but it is a producer of small portable toilets for the use at open air concerts or military or humanitarian uses where full sanitarian buildings are not possible...

so here it is:




the door is on plastic scratch build angles that allow movement and can still be detached for painting...

the inside for this one is fully "furniture" (there will be three of them in the end...)
and there will be again a little scene shown there... if everything works out as planned this will be not bigger than a cd as a base...scale shots will follow shortly..

roof is removable...and for now it is a flat roof...

lots of details still to follow...so stay tubed...

Very nice vik. , Ive got an idea perculating, but so far still in concept phase. Plus it would be more kitbash than scratchbuild.

Vik, Dixie in the US refers to a type of disposable cup (although I suppose you could urinate into it in a pinch...) and/or the southern states that were a part of the Confederacy. Also a beer and a Song. Sometimes a Woman's name. No association with portable toilets.

We have Jiffy Johns and Porta-Potties. And they never have toilet paper on the roll. Ever :( From your entry it looks like you German folk are spoiled.

Vik has the very basic human outhouse design, well done! made of modern materials, the Model 100 latrine can be easily assembled in minutes! Once set the model 100 Latrine for single houses out in the reaches of the human colonization efforts will handle all your sanitation needs for years, just make sure to dig a deep enough hole folks!

The model 100 is even capable of being moved to new latrine holes as it diassembles as easily as it is built! it will even come with the holes for fastening bolts for taking to the ground, as who would want be knocked over while doing their business!

great idea vik, the only other thing I could suggest is one knocked over spilling its contents and occupant or the scene from breaking bad where they are stealing the 55gallon drum of methylmine and tie someone inside the potty.

Vik, they waited until a security guard went into one then they used rope to tie him in. You could make it the officers latrine with just the arm sticking out, or have a guard ready to toss a grenade in to frag the git that got the platoon chewed up in the last fight.

lol...that is also a good one...oh...by the way... the out of order one has an arm sticking out of the pot...take a look... the angle is not helpful...i know^^

red, I wanted to have the pants at his ankles... it is one of these things that are very hard to do... I would need bare knees and legs and then in a sitting position too... the only sitting body/legs I have is from the sentinel pilot... and I have no idea how to sculpt pulled down pants... this is the point where I probably need to draw the line...

around the ankles? green stuff can do it and some olive oil and bit of patience.

well... there is another hobby modeller needed for this kind of action... my hand eye coordination really sucks in that department...

Yeah, I've never shown any affinity for sculpting either. BUt this looks great and hilarious, Vik. Looking forward to the finished piece.

well one probably could get away with a bit of sculpting and sanding down... it all depends on the paintjob... maybe I should be bolder?....hmmm...

Definitely have a go at sculpting some pants down dude...at the very least some folds of GS around the ankles and sand the legs, bit of paint, and once he's inside the portaloo it will work fine.
