Done with WoW again, now hooked on path of exile for a bit with the occasional game of MWO thrown in.

Band Hero for PS2. Working my way up the difficulties, currently working on getting 5 gold stars on every song on medium.

I was off work sick today, and realised I never finished The Last of Us. Picked it up from my old save near the end of Winter and played right through to about the middle of Fall. Now I'm emotionally exhausted again.

BF4 PC. They really changed aircraft handling between beta and release. Feels extremely cartoony now.

The beta was the Gamescom build, an outdated build that kind of was crap.

Maybe so, but I liked it much better. Helos especially are just...bizarre now. You have to actively work very hard to crash.

A couple of crashes and the split screen changing option seems to have disappeared, but have been very much enjoying this co-op.

Don't play much but when I do pick up the old controller it's been skyrim for the last year.

Gotta say, pretty disappointed with bf4, still got the same glitches as beta with rendering and the whole loading a character and not being able to sprint and shooting any time you jump. Plus waited up for the midnight here in HI and EA servers crashed a hour and a half in.

The worst is where I'm up to. So many times Joel just takes off to do something leaving Ellie by herself. I keep making my way back thinking 'oh god she's going to be gone when I get there'.

Also, I keep running out of ammo. I think right now I have like 4 bullets for each pistol, 4 for the rifle, and a few arrows. I know I'll get through each encounter, but knowing it's so low just... ugh. At least I have a fully stocked flamethrower.

Limited ammo/survival style games get annoying sometimes. Its like the caps to your ammo in bioshock were low enough that you could spend hours playing stockpiling ammo, and then hose it all out in 5-10 minutes fighting a big daddy or a mob. It adds to strategy or fear, sometimes, but it can get annoying

BF4 - Again, a hugely popular game has server issues on the first day or so and people freak out. Ya...thats gunna happen with anything popular in launch week.

While this is true, it shouldn't be true, EA knows how many copies were pre-ordered, they know how many players will be going live, at this point I don't think you can excuse these launch day crashes.

360, figured out the issues--had to reconfigure wireless completely and adjust some options and latency is much much better and the other issue was the right trigger sticking ever so slightly from being old, so I'm very pleased with it now. The server crashing is normal and actually less than expected.

Walking Dead by Telltale Games. Just found out that Season 2 will be released in November and I preordered it on Steam, so I gotta finish Ep 4 and 5 now.

About to crack open Baldur's Gate that i found for a steal at the weekend.

Also thinking of getting back into LOTRO after a wee break.

System Shock 2. I don't know if people's expectations of games back then was lower, or that nostalgia skews opinions of it, but I found it to be a bit meh. I guess modern (ish) games have spoiled me.

For the time, it was revolutionary for combining FPS/RPG elements and its way it tells it story. Of course the graphic were not pretty back then, it was the 1990's-early 2000's, but I'd rather have that over any of the large modern garbage out today.

Oh I just mean that its clunky as hell and expect you to play it slowly and tactically, despite throwing mooks at you every few seconds. For someone not used to its play style it just comes across as a convoluted gaming experience. Graphically it doesn't bother me, and if that was the problem there's probably a texture pack out there for it by this point. Its just that it didn't really meet my expectations and requires way too much adjusting to get used to.

Funny enough I played it for the first time yesterday and I really don't see me playing it much longer: I started feeling very, very motion sick.

Well, finished Sleeping Dogs, said a big FU to the missing achievements and I planned to add System Shock 2 to the play list... I'll probably just focus on Ar Tonelico now.

Path of Exile and MWO mostly now.

Just installed Rift. It's fun. It reminds me of a less colourful World of Warcraft in some ways.
