@Matt - Thanks Matt!

@Daxx - IIRC the later versions have assault marines/terminators/veterans as part of the templates, so a veteran with robes might be your best bet.

@Graven - Yeah, there was no denying my model when you see it next to all the rest, I guess that's a good thing you can identify my painting anywhere

@Casey - No worries about the delay, you think the WoW addiction was bad, you haven't heard about the Diablo 2 addiction that was before it!

@Gits - Hehe, I was very sneaky sneaky about it as well, got I love magnets!

Beautiful! Out of interest, are DKs particularly wide in the flesh? I always see them as too chunky for my taste but it might just be how they come across in pictures.

@Gits - Thanks, I probably could have given it another coat or two of black wash to darken it up, but the effect is there

@Casey - Not really that wide, they are a pain to move any where if the top of the body isn't glued on to the legs, but for transporting in a case it has to be separated at the middle.

@Daxx - Cool, my suggestion with parts painting, come up with a way to paint the piece without having your hand on it, I use a flying stand with a piece of wire and a hole drilled into the piece I'm painting, it stops me getting finger prints onto the part.

Also I may stop this guy as a good gaming mate of mine has asked me to paint forge worlds Fulgrim, so I'm very excited about that.

He's one of my purifiers so an elite choice and I made a descion a while back that the elites would get a darker grey look with a cream helmet.

@Casey - Heh I get where your coming from, there must be only so much "looking good" you can lead with, why not start up a random topic and we can talk about it and with an added bonus of a model being posted at the end

(of course this applies to anyone who wishes to start up a random conversation)

@LDP - Gosh, I started this blog in 2010, 3 years of clean and crisp, I can see why people want to see different stuff from me.

@Daxx - Cool, point me at the pictures when you post them and I can offer my input if you want it.

Haha! I just worry that it must sound insincere after a while.

I follow your blog pretty consistently so I obviously really like your work but I can only say it so many times before it seems like a programmed reaction. Hence I take little breaks to just ask you questions and make bad jokes.

It's the cross you must bear for being so prolific a contributor to the Dakkasphere.

@Daxx - Bugger, I joined in 2010 but started this in 2011, my mistake, but still a long time to be painting one army!

@Casey - Consistent posting does have its downfalls when there is little variation on what is posted. I for one love a bad joke or two, my partner would confirm this without hesitation and would go so far as to say all my jokes are bad, but that's why she is with me

Update: Should be getting Fulgrim tonight so stay tuned for the coming weeks! In the mean time, completed the Purifier

Update: Fulgrim received and he's had a dunk in some washing liquid and had a good scrub, gotta clean off that release agent!

Doesn't Fulgrim come with multiple arm choices? If so, what are you going to pick?
