Oh hell yes. I can certainly get on board Mechanicus.
I wonder how many models will have that aesthetic.

So glad I didn't pick up the GW warpsmith. I'm going to paint the sushi out of that. And most of the other models these guys are planning.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Hot diggidy damn, if it looks even half as cool as the concept art I'll be picking up half a dozen purely for the bitz; you could convert two or three Techpriest models with the amount of not-servo arms and not-mechadendrites coming out of her. The base body will do well for a friend's Rogue Trader character as well, saves me having to sculpt a female Techpriest from scratch, heh.

EDIT:

Imbued with great necromantic powers, she ruthlessly lords over necrocyber zombies who serve as bodyguards and cannon fodder for the Iron Empire (our Prussian style army).

"necrocyber zombies"? Do I smell resin/plastic not-servitors?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

My wallet is forcing self-control on me these days. There are many games / projects I'd like to back, but I have to be selective now...

I think this one would be high on my "want" list, but having preordered from RH before and experience long delays, I don't think I will be doing a kickstarter for their product. I love their stuff, though, and will be ordering another Manticore from them soon I think.

You might want to avoid Kickstarters in general, and wildly successful ones in particular, if delays aren't your thing!

I get the impression that delays are common in kickstarters but the delay in even launching this one seems unusual?

I'd rather they delay a bit and get it right. Anyway, you can't expect French to be fast about anything...

Chances are this project will miss its proposed delivery dates regardless, it is something of a company staple.

There is a discussion in another thread on Kickstarters and tax law. Sounds like Uncle Sam (or appropriate government) wants his cut and they are most likely making sure all know tax issues are taken care of before they pull the trigger. They are likely hearing horror stories from other companies that had successful kickstarters and now are facing unexpected costs (shipping) and tax bills.

Note I said my wallet is the primary driver making me choose between campaigns, and I said I experienced "long" delays from RH before. I love their stuff, but like to get it through distributors instead of direct. Faster and easier!

But yeah, Some delays are unfortunately par for the KS course, as I have found out on every project I've backed

I think that I can control myself...
I have been tempted to back kickstarters before, but have stopped myself from spending all of my money.

I think that the fact that you can get a ton of miniatures for cheap counteracts the delays. Besides, I'm a very patient person.

Win up to 1000 € worth of Raging Heroes miniatures!
That's almost $1300 or £850!
Details below

Hello everyone!
While we're hard at work dotting our i's and crossing our t's for the TGG Kickstarter (I think we'll be able to write an how-to guide, after this), as promised, we have now created and launched our first ever Raging Heroes Sweepstakes, where YOU get to influence the size of the prize...
Because the higher our Facebook Like count on our Raging Heroes Facebook page, the bigger the LOOT!

We did it on Facebook this time, because our challenge as a small company is being able to communicate in a timely fashion. We are aware (and very excited) that many are impatiently awaiting the start of our Kickstarter, and we'd like to be able to reach a maximum number of people when we launch and update it.
Therefore, we tied our Sweepstake Prize to an increase in the number of Likes on our Facebook page.

Like our Page. (Edit: Link fixed)

Enter the Sweepstakes here.

So, what's the deal, you ask?
Well, 2 new LIKEs = 1 additional Euro's worth of Raging Heroes stuff.
‣ Starting Like count: 1500.
‣ 1700 Likes = 100 Euros worth of minis.
‣ 2000 Likes = 250 Euros.
‣ 3500 LIKEs = 1000 Euros: Yep, that's like getting all the models in our range for free!
So get your friends to [ur=https://www.facebook.com/RagingHeroesl]Like our Page.[/url] But hurry!
Contest ends this Wednesday April 3rd.
Winner(s) will be randomly picked from all submitted entries.

It's supposed to expose them to everyone you've ever known and never wanted to get back in contact with again because they were morons the first time you knew them(what? I thought reconnecting you with people you would cross the street to avoid in RL was the point of facebook? ), since they see that you've "liked" something. For some reason, companies think this will instill in said people the uncontrollable urge to inform themselves about the product.

I use Facebook to keep in contact with gaming groups and as another way of seeing what miniatures companies are up to and leaving feedback.
