As you know, the launch of our first Kickstarter, the Toughest Girls of the Galaxy, is imminent.

I don't think that word means what they think it means.

Few days, imminent, what's next? Impending?

I have started to think that in french perhaps time based units are imprecise. Few days = sometime , Imminent = soonish. Just like the aboriginals they are with the time keeping
Tell an aboriginal from the centre of Australia to come back in three days for a checkup and 9/10 they never show, apparently any number over 2 means sometime.

I'd be happy with another 2-3 week wait on this still. Too much else to pay for still!

you mean... there are other Kickstarters people are interested in at the moment... no way!!

There is a joke at the moment I am obsessed with KS... this one will just be another notch in my fabulous array of KS.

Just don't know what I will be getting or if the back book will be available cheap.

Well, gotta feed the Pledge Managers of Zombicide and Hell Dorado. I'm also one of those weirdos that likes to buy products that are available in stores. Got to get some Dust stuff before it all goes balls-up with the Battlefront price increase, and the annual GW price increase is due soon, so there's probably some stuff to grab before that happens.

Decided to sign up for the herald thing, let's see if this helps. While I was at it, I told them how much I hate their pistol designs.

I signed up the other day as well, but told them I won't be willing to compromise my principles (ie, I won't fanboi or sycophant and I'll still be critical when I think it's justified.) Wish me luck!

I didn't like how they asked if I was willing to share my on-line handle and real name, not giving you the option to choose to share neither..

But yeah, as much as I want them to succeed and as much as I like their stuff, I'm keeping a critical eye out.

Exactly, hence why the 15th this week, being semi-important.

They've actually released too much information for their own good. Or waited too long? Not sure now...

Anyways, I'm planning on skipping the Toughest Girls blah blah blah in anticipation of the Sisters of Eternal Mercy, which they are apparently also Kickstarting.

The "Toughest Girls" schtick seems a little forced, and for once I actually prefer the less OTT look that Statuesque went with. Those battle-nuns though... zoicks

Both really. Or well, maybe just the latter. All they've shown us is designs and numbers, no actual minis, so it could still go either way.

So are we throwing a party tomorrow or what

Or, how about an informal agreement to NOT post in this thread again until they launch the campaign... it's probably doing more harm than good to have this thread bobbing around with no new developments at this point.

Considering my reaction every time I see this thread rise to the top is "Oh, at last!" shortly followed by "Oh for feth's sake..." I agree. This will be my last post in this thread until RH actually launch the kickstarter.

They'd better have some sculpts to show, or there'll be hell to pay.

They've been posting the wrong information. They could post more information - in the form of finished sculpts - and it would make the wait more bearable, by demonstrating that even if the Kickstarter is late, the Kickstarter rewards are on schedule. After all, if you had the choice, would you rather pay in February and receive in December, or pay in June and receive in December?

But Alex, they've given us a Tumblr, shouldn't we be grateful for that?

I dunno. A scheduled roll out of sculpts during the KS would help build the fever when people can actually dump money so is more important. Showing them all now won't really do much imo.

I am confident that excitement will be back when the first sculpts are shown in the kickstarter.
