Bah, Girls und Panzer episode 12 is just a recap episode... I have recap episodes.

Currently watching Trigun for the first time.
So much fun ^^

I need to rewatch Trigun. When Cartoon Network aired it they cut out one episode due to violence with no note they had done so and it left you with a wtf is going on when the next episode airs. Then they just cut the series off without showing the last few episodes for the same reason. I did catch the end once I think, but if I did I've forgotten it.

I might start watching the Eva series as well.
As soon as I get over those vietnam style flashbacks of End of Eva.

Does anyone know of good anime on Netflix (besides Elfen Leid, seen that one a few times)?

Currently my only way to view it... Was watching this show called Mushi... seemed kinda weird... idk if I'll keep watching it though.

Mushi-Shi? I liked that one.

Out of curiosity, why only Netflix? Hulu is free is pretty good. Been watching a bunch on Pinoyanime.tv recently as well since try have videos that stream on my phone.

It's not nearly as bad as what they did with Tenchi. Or Blue Submarine #6.


I remember so many people posting questions of the WTF? nature on Tenchi we started calling new posters 'Toonamis'. Cartoon Network really needed to have explained that they were totally separate series. BS6 was just irritating with it's badly altered dialog and toothpicks. Though it was funny where they screwed up and the toothpick was still smoking.

Rideback and Le Chevalier d'Eon are both on Netflix and awesome.

Other good Netflix stuff: Kitty Grade, Aquarion (hot blooded robot action), Blue Gender, Shuffle (if you're into harem comedy romances... but prepare yourself for a massive shift change), Oh My Goddess! (a classic), Noir (another classic both in the old school sense), and finally Canaan.

Under no circumstances should you watch the anime version of the Count of Monte Cristo.

Darker than Black is also on netflix.

Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood are both on netflix I think?. Brotherhood is by far my most favorite anime of all time, and I think it has the best story every written FOR ANYTHING EVER. Depends on what kind of anime you like to watch though.

I've already watched FMA, and it was only because one of my buddies loved it... it wasn't my cup of tea... I got annoyed by Ed's anger over his height by like the end of the first seasons... "We get it, you don't like being called short, at least you're not stuck in a suit of armor."

Two episodes left. The problem is the director couldn't make it fast enough at his standard to suit the brutal scheduling of Japanese TV programming. So 12.5 is the last slot that was allotted to Girls Und Panzer. There's no way to air more episodes without disrupting the anime that follows on after it.

Laaaaaaaaaaame! stupid recap episodes...

The recap episodes were to satisfy the network's demand for weekly content. Apparently the new recap is really worth watching as it fleshes the world out even more and explains the rules of Tankery.

I watched the first half, then got bored. Trying to make the sport real doesn't really matter to me because I consider the premise too ridiculous. Ever since the first episode where she's standing up out the turret and one of the other girls says she should probably come back inside for safety and her reply is that the accuracy is too low that her chances of getting hit are really slim, I've just wanted one errant tank shell to nail one of the girls when they're leaning out of their armored shell like that. Just a boom and teeny bits of school girl scattered across the field. It's the same thought process I have for seeing Terminators not wearing their helmets or other such instances of having some superior armor/protection but leaving your most vital spot exposed because it looks cool.

That and the episode where they have machine gun fire. That's not going to hurt a tank. They even say so. What purpose does it possibly serve other than to kill exposed occupants?

Well my buddy got me hooked on the Berserk series..... holly hell its brutally awesome!

Just started Escaflowne finally. I'm really enjoying it ^^

I haven't seen the show or movie since like 2000 (2003?), but I always remembered the gallons of blood someone would lose from a single wound. I always loved that about the series made me giggle...

I do think they're very cute. I'm not really a collector of those sort of things though. They tend to make anyone look like a terrible otaku and make them horribly stereotyped. I only have 1 since I won it at a convention.

Not really. Collecting the semi-naked statues of female characters in provocative poses...yeah. That's weird. Collecting ordinary, non-pervy figures and models is normal and not really otaku behaviour. Those little tanks are definately not weird or pervy, and I can see no shame associated with them.
