Correct me if I'm wrong, but they're only in season 1... Unless you're not talking about SAO
There is a 'intermission' point around episode 16, its not really a season break.. but people call it one.
Pretty much that. There's a distinct point where the story and plot suddenly changes greatly. I only just recently heard that its technically not actually a season break because of how their tv works there, but we've been refering to it as such here the whole time.

Lol, okay. I'm enjoying the show nonetheless, and should hit that point tonight. I think I got through 7 episodes last night after watching the 2 most recent episodes of Magi...

Currently burning my way thru Magi, will likely get all released episodes watched tonight. Thanks for the reccomendation, its a pretty good series so far. Reminds me of the style of FMA. Do you know how many episodes total are planned?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and what day of the week new episodes come out?

Currently there are 24 episodes planned, and I caught up to episode 12 on Wednesday, and Crunchyroll said they'd have the next episode for Premium Members in 6 days. So Monday or Tuesday.
Edit: Got through the first "chunk" of Sword Art Online. My only complaint is that the SAO arc was really short... This doesn't give me much hope on seeing this for a long time. Oh well lol. I'm glad that I didn't get sucked into a show that is going to be the length of DBZ, but I'd love to see it be a little longer... I should catch up on SAO by the end of the weekend (which is going to be the end of my free trial).

Oh boy, just saw the episode where the Kishen comes back, and holy crap does the show get interesting.
There's like, Evangelion levels of mindscrewing going on.

I was okay with the length of the first arc, felt that it wrapped up the first game nicely. It could have used some filler episodes, but that's okay. Alfheim Online was just way too freaking short.

Hmm, I have one of the characters in my ork blog being held in a prison called "carnival corpse" and another being chased by an assassin with multiple personalities code named "wretched egg" one guess what I've been watching. That and samurai 7.

I just finished the first "season" of Jormungand. I really like how the show sprinkles in back story for everyone. And the action is fun, if INCREDIBLY over the top.
And holy crap does it suddenly get violent. People getting sliced in half left, right and center. Ok sure, technically they're monster things and maybe not real "people", and there's no blood or nothing, but still.
Also, Morgiana is a supreme bad arse and if she ever got a metal vessel of her own would probably be unstoppable.

Well, I just watched the entire series of Gokicha! Cockroach Girls. All 2 episodes of it. Saying that, it is ongoing, and it's more like an amateur web animation than a fully fledged series. Also it is brilliant, and I hope they release more episodes.
Watched episode 8 of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...
Wow. I did NOT see that coming. Kamina!
Also, saw a book of the original Cardcaptor Sakura manga in my local bookstore, alas I did not have my wallet with ne, and it was book 3 (they didn't have book 1 or 2).

xxxHolic is playing in the background as I type. Do the Clone Wars count? Been watchin the daylights out of the 4 seasons on blu ray. Strictly Japanimation: Lupin III, Loki Ragnarock, GitS: SAC 1 and 2, plus some other junk I have streaming while I do other stuff/sleep.
I just laughed at that scene in Soul Eater where Kid gets royally owned by the Kishen while he was charging up for a super attack. Does that make me a bad person? xD
Just saw the last episode. It's alright. The fact that
Spoiler:
Maka is suddenly a weapon and the whole "power of lo-I mean bravery" thing was kinda dumb though.
Then again, I am a cynical old bastard. On the other hand, that was an excellent performance from Laura Bailey. She really excels at playing strong female leads.

One show I strongly suggest you avoid is Kodomo no Jikan. It's basically heavily ecchi lolicon fanservice...so yeah. Avoid like Wedding Peach.
Incidentally, Actar Raikit had a few very interesting articles on his blog about censorship in anime and the morality of loli content. They manage to remain relatively sensible and mature on the subjects, although some of the example pictures he uses are rather NSFW (for obvious reasons!).

I'm going to watch it now, just because you said not to... fightin' the powah.
