Wicked! Base looks excellent, especially with the update to the chaos seal. Great call on the blue uniforms, too. they add some much needed color.

I think the weapons look okay. Bit odd, but not worth worrying about too much. The wrench is definitely okay. The autogun could, perhaps, be on the ground below his hand, but then you'd need a flat hand instead of in a first too. Probably not worth the hassle.

Thanks. The ML is magnetized and the body swivels 90 deg. to the left so he can position the front where his shield are. For All purposes I'm done with her ( ok... I have one more seal to add-oops). I hope our friend likes it. It was a blast to paint.

Now to do my remaining 4 Knights. I'm thinking purple and white with the gold trim. One of each variant except the Gallant.

Got a day planned this weekend to finally get to some paint on some additional SW's I've been working on.
10 Wolves, 6 TWC, 10 GH, 4 side sponsons, 2 additional Predator turrets. Everything assembled and waiting for the liquid GS to cure. I have 2 DP I'd like to add but I'm running out of free time.
Hopefully some pics on Monday!

Finished base coating and highlighting AB work on the new wolves. Now on to the black work. Finished all the interiors for the 2 Drop pods. Once I get all the weathering done in the interior compartments I'll start assembling. 10 Wolves are finished as well as the 6 TWC mounts. Pics tomorrow of where I end up. Probably finish the TWC SM first as they will the the quickest to finish. I've 1 with CS and pistol, 1 with Axe and shield, I with LC and 3 with TH and shield. The additional 10 GH will need to have their load outs figured first before moving on.

2. Lamenters 1000pt Zone Mortalis list for Same Badab war game.
3. Alpha Legion 500pt Zone Mortalis list for HH event.

5. 1850 Grey Knight list for a Friend
6. Imperial Knight gift for Friend.

I'll probably need every BF container I have!

I'm not sure Thing 1 realizes he needs to bring his Crons... I'll have to remind him.

Sort of seconding the addition of some burning on the bottoms and wings. You could get away without it easy enough, but adding it would give it that extra level of detail

Love those models SL. Pods are ace for sure. I agree with wyfox & Ramos... some scorch marks would really elevate them to the next level.

Sounds like a consensus. I'll do something with it when I get through the rest.

I'm in the process of list building for the 2 Badab Narrative campaigns at Adepticon. I'll need a 1000 pt ZM list, a 1850 pt list and a 2000 pt Apoc list.

I was going to AB them but It was such a small piece I just went ahead with the brush. I think they also need to show some heat discoloration on the barrels. Darken them a bit.

So I found out I'll be needing an an additional 150 pts to my Apoc game. Since they state no power lists, but open to any formations I went with as close to a generic list as I could.
I went for the Gladius formation ( I know free stuff) but it make a well rounded mech inf force. I din't have time to paint a bunch so I went for things I currently have.

2 Demi companies =
Captian Vale from IA? and a Chaplain
3 5 man Tac squads w melta gun
1 Assualt squad with JP and Flamer
1 Dev Squad with 1 PC, 2 ML and MM

It give me 6 Razorbacks. 3 with TLLas/plas, 3 with AC

A storm Wing with
Storm Raven
2 Stormtalons with LC/AC

10th company
3x 5 man scout squads with Sniper rifles.

1840 pts . Leaves me with 10 pts for day one and 160 for the APOC game.

looks like a great list, the Captain Vale lists get nasty

Drop cans look amazing, wolfies look amazing, tanks look ........amazing, ok looking pretty amazing.

No idea on lists dont play, and if I did I would not bother with lists because i is orky and don't count well.

Nice to have you checking in YB… Thanks. I added 3 more TWC to the ones you gave me. Just wasn’t enough variety, Still I think you could use some more in order to pick and choose the load out you want. As it is I went with the most popular and most powerful. Irony is that All this I'll eventually end up facing!

Latest batch of Yellowbeards Space wolves. I have 12 more Greyhunters bodies completely painted, was waiting on his decision on how to kit then out. Should finish them by Thursday!

Great work! I'm loving the burn entry marks you added. but the carbon pencil looking damage doesn't seem to fit. at least not on the blue.

I use 50/50 Scorched brown / black with a thin line on the bottom with a very light colour of the base coat to highlight.

My only blue example:


In your case I'd use a 50/50 white and SW grey

Those spacewolves turned out beautifully SL. Really amazing work on display. All they need now is proper basing and they'll be perfect!
