U too my friend.

So let me start off by saying it was a great gaming event. When I say great I mean there was the best of company, The events I played in were all very fun and enjoyable. The Terrain this year was particularly good and varied. the open tables were readily available. All the people I meet were folks I'd liek to game with anytime. The rooms were very nice ( TV in tne bathroom, beds comfy and the hall was room and I didn't feel like cattle when moving around.

The only downside was the cost of the food at the hotel. Way over priced for what you got. The Elevators were slow, but there was costumed women my buddy had to take a picture with every one; so he was happy.

I have a lot of pictures .Unfortunately My good camera crapped out in the middle of day two and I had to use my camera phone. We made some new Wardens and I call for an official reunion in 2017. The first day was the Badab event. The TO was great and the boards were very nice to play on. I won the first. lost the second and tied the third. The all day Apoc game was great as well and the full gamete of rules and old world Apoc shenanigans were played out. The secessionist won the game by a close two points. The ZM game was a blast. Even better it was a 30k HH event. Nothing better than Marines on Marines. Very little codex power creep made it a fun game of strategy and luck. I can't say enough about the organizers, they put on a good show.

Adepticon cavalcade of pictures.

Ok let’s start with some of the other cool things… and not my stuff.
Cool Ork Vs. Imperium.. Very cool and busy display including a looted Tesseract Arc for the weird boy and a looted Imperial knight.

Titan only battle. Got a couple of shots as I was walking by…

Here is a couple of pics I took at the larger ZM boards…

And last teaser for the day.. a cool game I really wanted to demo that I got no chance to do. I might have bought it unplayed if I had some opponents that I knew in my area. The figures were amazing and they also had cool mythological beasts to add something than just the historical aspect. ( though I would love just the Historical by itself. ) Arena Rex…

Tomorrow I’ll show you a large Apoc game with wall to wall figures, awesome terrain and loads of non-titan heavy war machines.

Thank you for the great pics, that Arena game looks like it could be great quick fun.

Next some pics for the Badab 1850 Tourney terrain. It truly ran the gamut for very open to very dense.
Obviously an attacker and defender scenario.

Zone Mortalis boards. These really show how easy it is to make a board using common items and still look great.

One of the toughest board to play on due to an immense sight blocking terrain

This was the 2vs2 table

More of a traditional tables, though still more terrain than most of the team tourney tables.

Great use of aquarium plants for a nice jungle look.

As promised. Here is a Apoc game that was going on next to us. Very cool and jam packed table. The pics are in the early stages of the game.

I imagine there was much carnage to follow…

I played on the city table and the jungle table with the red base. Both were quite interesting and challenging. The city table (with the modern buildings, not the ruins) was really challenging because of the oblique nature of the fire lanes. Loved it!

Been a good month for gaming.. Getting ready for Adepticon, starting a new AL army. Managed to get in some shopping and some stuff on order.
Here’s what coming…
2 Valkyries for my Tempests. I really dislike the Taurox so I needed something useful to move them around.
Lots of AL stuff from forge world. Books 5 & 6 of the HH series. The new Age of Darkness book. Several boxes of weapons, MkIII techmarine, AL transfer sheet, AL shoulders. The 2 Praetors minis.
More Terrain. Two tall Marine towers with cool boarding doors. I got in the full Kickstarter for ‘ Rapid Vanguard’ Death ray designs, plus I added the foundry and several add on like the comms and relay towers. Some more craters from the guy who made my original set. A cool looking heat vent piece to add to all my loose pieces.
10 wooded bases, 10 scifi bases. Box of Hordes from my swag bag. 8 shipping containers.

Now off to work on the ‘Portal ‘ comp. this weekend. Very little time to start and finish on time.

Not where I should be

Thanks for sharing, some amazing things on display, lots of inspiration.

Always amazes me how we all interpret things so differently. And it also gets me how there are fashions/trends, I am seeing a lot of candy here, bright vibrant colours, lots of big stuff, all great.

I know people have been airbrushing forever, but it seems to be much more common now, it shows in a lot of what you have shown so far.

They are all fantastic, not as good as yellow with checkers.

Thanks for taking the time for us to see, really appreciate it.

The subtlest of hints. Of course you'll never know unless we comment on what you do post.

Lovely highlights though.

Interesting to see two of the Daemon Engine formation from the WHW exclusive supplement crop up though!
