What about putting the curved chainblades sideways to the hand? Like chainsaw knuckledusters? Could even get two on each and have them going counter to each other.

I was going to say before that update that whilst they are looking great, almost as if they're a purchasable kit from GW, they needed to look a little more 'chaosy' but you seemed to have fixed this problem with the heads and icons. They look really good, a nice innovative conversion!

Getting better all the time, buddy! The new skull emblem on the shoulder (looks as if it has been made from a shaved down Chaos Knight pauldron) works great, and the assault cannon looks cool as well!

The new heads took some getting used to, but now I feel like they're a pretty good addition -- still not sure about the beaky helmet though: The position's a bit awkward, and for me it's one of the weaker heads from the Raptor kit. Do you have any other heads from the Raptors/Warp Talons that you could try?

The other one's a winner though

Oh, and I stand by my earlier assessment: Definitely keep the chainaxe blades, but one per hand is enough. Like I said earlier, it should look as if the gauntlet itself was serving as the housing for the weapon.

Yeah I'm not keen on the beaky head but they're the only two I have. These heads aren't final I'd like to get the two meaner looking Raptor Heads oh and I'm gonna keep the chain axe bits. Im kinda burning myself out on these though so in thinking of stepping back from them for a bit.

On that note I'm gonna be doing something I've wanted to do for a while now. Ever since seeing Krautscientistsawesome Ruinous Powers where he built a Champion for each of the gods seen http://eternalhunt.wordpress.com/2012/09/29/the-ruinous-powers-synthesis/ I've been itching to make some myself. So if over the next few weeks you see representatives from Nurgle or Slaanesh don't be alarmed. There will be an ambassador of the Blood God along to deal with them before long. I've got a rough plan in place for a Death Guard and Emperors Children but I'm still unsure how to tackle Tzeentch. And the Khorne champ will be getting a squad and background added as well to take his place in the 18th Assault Company of Brother Captain Deimos.

I think the old heads look better as they fit in with your more practical aesthetic. The armour of your marines isn't warped, it's been brutally forged by hand. Molded in the material universe by those driven by the forces beyond. Your daemon engines are more machine than daemon too. Elegantly designed machines, reflecting the beastial nature of Khorne without having become corrupted by the direct touch of the warp.

Those stock Centurion heads scream fury and rage when surrounded by the icons of Khorne.

Looking forward to seeing your take on the servants of the four gods.

Was just going to say. I think one of the worst things of the current centurians are the heads. I am going to use grey knight terminator heads on mine. Looks a lot better.

Looking forward to seeing your take on the Champions of the other Ruinous Powers. It's probably my shameless bias at work here, but I'm sure that Nurgle will be the most fun.

Thanks guys, here's a small update on the Fiend. I also started on some Berzerkers and painted up one of the ruins I built a while back. Take a look and let me know what you think folks.

Thanks for the additional pictures, buddy!

The fiend is indeed fantastic, and the paintjob's looking great! My one suggestion would be to consider painting the teeth on that Necrosphinx skull in a different colour (silver), in order to give the head a little more definition. Apart from that, everything is as it should be.

Those new PIP berzerkers also look really promising, and the ruin is awesome: Should make for a great piece of terrain (*cough* or a Heldrake base *cough*).

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with the ruins and the progress on the Fiend.

Kraut, the teeth will be picked out with a brighter brass/gold colour. Just like on the Blood Stalker.

Now today isn't an update on any of my projects but it is an interesting project nonetheless.

A few weeks ago a guy at my club offered me a 'tank thing' he'd had in his cupboard for years. He had bought it from another member of the club who had done all the work. The only description I got of it was it was a bigger land raider. Haha. I agreed to buy it purely to rip apart for the Titan bit when I picked it up today I was greeted with this crazy contraption. Now I'm torn. I feel I should just paint it red and make some rules up for it. Have a look and see what you all think of it. Any suggestions for improvements/modifications encouraged.

Woah now that really is quite an insane tank! I actually agree that you should keep it, seems a shame to just rip it to bits, especially as someone has taken a lot of time to get it to that state! However there are defiantely things you need to tweak, for me the most glaring one is the overhang on the front, the front view looks really cool and menacing, but from the side it looks like a weird front heavy monstrosity thats about to topple forwards, If I was you I would at the very least enbed the demolisher cannon deeper in the chasis, but I think it has real potential!

Oh btw the rest of your stuff is truly the work of a genius, I lurk here something terrible, for which i apologise!

If you stuck a death roller os something underneath it, that'd fix the whole top heavy issue, and make it look even more murderous. As J Paint said; someone has obviously put a lot of blood sweat and tears into that, it'd be a horrible shame to dismantle it. Paint it red!

OH-I Wanna get out of here

I say just keep the beast as is. The only thing I don't like on it is the skulls on the front spikes, due to the angle they are, but that's pretty minor. Most of the things on it are from Mk I stuff, and I don't think you will get that much use out of those anyways.

I agree, some type of death roller contraption would be more aesthetically pleasing.

Even though I love your Titan kitbashes, I agree with the other guys that tearing this big boy apart for raw materials seems like a shame! Keeping it as a tank would honour the guy who gave it to you, plus it should be possible to use it as some kind of superheavy, I guess.

As for the front-heavy impression, my solution to that would be to actually embrace the effect: That Vindicator gun barrel looks like a perfect spot for a huge stylised skull (the Stonehorn faceplate might work), with the gun emerging from between its jaws. And if you really want to go all out, why not put some kind of shrine (perhaps even using the actual warshrine of chaos bitz) onto the back portion of the hull? This is already an awesome conversion, but with a little work, it could become even better!

Will want to 'fix' the Aquillas on the treads, of course, and just tighten up a lot of the little joints, but yeah. This is way better than most things I can think of that are known as 'tank things'.
