0.o That seller's been taught English by a monkey...
...And his reasoning for the price is terrible. "Yes, you can buy it for half the price brand new from GW, but I sell it at double the price so independent stockists can supply them". ...Because selling an item for double the price as the shop next door (actually probably for triple the price so they can make some profit), is really going to be bringing in the customers.

Normally this seller is quite reasonable, so can only presume this is either a mistake or the piece is amazingly rare...

That is the kneeling set of legs you get with the devastator box. For half a pound less (after shipping) you get it, 5 other sets of legs and a pile of heavy weapons.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

Also, the Kingdom Death Kickstarter is really driving prices for the old limited edition Kingdom Death minis.
Not as crazy as that Epic army, but there's this single 28mm Kingdom Death Mini asking for US$ 174,-

I was watching that one and almost bid on it. (to be honest, I had every intention of doing so, but literally forgot to bid....ah well!) That is actually the kind of auction I try to win: an awful little kid paint job that can be stripped or painted over. look how low the final sellng price was.
That's how you find the really good deals on Ebay.

i wouldnt touch that thing with a 10 foot pole. it probably has assembly problems, there could be plastic glue dumped all over the back of it for all you know. who knows whats under that nail polish - there could be layer upon layer of spray primer.
models like that are almost never worth the gamble IMO.

Since you guys know about a lot of ebay shenanigans - I've been eying something for a while, a single old model in blister. It's been up for a while, from an actual gaming store.
~$15us for the model, ~$35us shipping to Australia. Um... how is it costing $35us to ship a single miniature in blister?

A ton of people post stupid low prices with jacked up shipping. It's against the ToS for ebay, but people do it anyway. It cracks me up when people try to sell bits with $6 shipping.
Another example was when I needed seals for my airbrush. $3.99 for a pack of seals in San Diego, $7 minimum shipping to send it 2 hours up the freeway to me. Mind you it would have fit in a regular envelope with a single stamp and made it here in 1 day. I called and asked about it, and they said that $7 was for shipping and HANDLING. I explained that it doesn't take $6 worth of what I assume is a minimum wage workers time to pull a single pack of seals off a shelf, put them in an envelope and put it in the box.
I then drove down the street and rummaged for an hour to find seals at an RC car shop that were the same size, and the pack was only $3.
So yes, people on ebay are morons with shipping.

Okay, so this guy wants you to pay $26.39 for the weapon pods on a Stormtalon. That's over half the cost of the entire model and almost three times what the going rate is. To add insult to injury, the current price is advertised as a 20% discount of the original $32.99. FOR BITS. The kicker is that at least four people have bought them at this price. Then again, maybe it's it is a bargain because of his bottom basement shipping costs - 49 cents.
