Building has actually gone quite well. As far as updates go, there haven't been any because I have been working so hard. But Fear not I am updating tonight. I have much to show and am very happy with progress. I am switching Priority from the warhounds back to the Reavers and Thunderhawk. I realize that I have been focusing very much of my time on the warhounds and as close as the reavers and thunderhawk are to done that I need to knock them out and ship them off....

I know it has been several days but I am suffering from some sort of flu. I have been working hard, though, whilst I couldn't get out of the house. I am making much progress on the Warhounds. I have begun the weapons on the second Reaver and am going to be finishing the thunderhawk this week. The second Reaver and the thunderhawk currently have priority. Well, they actually have for several weeks now but the creative juices on the Warhounds has been flowing so I have to buckle down. I will be shipping a Reaver and Thunderhawk in as close to one week as I can possibly get it.
First off:

He is going on this:
A 1K Sons Pre-Heresy Mars Pattern Warhound. The Engine Pods aren't on or decorated yet but they will have to hold for a while.
Then there is this:

I have decided that this one will go to it's owner with the head not attached for easier painting. I am working on the design for the engine pods (as you can probably see from all the half erased pencil drawings on them) but am struggling a bit with cohesion with the rest of the main hull. I think I am going to have to go ahead and do more Grapevine Filigree on it even though I didn't want to. I think the overall aesthetic will need it.....
Oh, Brother Paen, Where art thou?
These bad boys will have standard Chaos markings and no extra frills. Except that the heads will be magnetic and there will be an extra set of heads with khorne markings. Except that by khorne markings I mean they will look like this:
That's right, Brother Paen's Warhounds will have Juggernaught Heads, Well, when he wants them to I guess, anyway....
I wanted to get to the making of the purity seals for the Warhounds and the Gatling Blaster for PonyExpress' Reaver tonight but the stomach she is a turnin', boys. Gonna have to go get some Migraine medicine and some dark, dark, silent sleep. or my lunch will make a reappearance....
Tomorrow:
1. The gatling Blaster and finishing the Melta Cannon.
2. Start the engines for the Thunderhawk and finish the Armour plating.
Aftter that I have to see how far I get. I will be posting a lot more this week than I usually do. I know that you have no reason to belive me but it is true ( I hope).......

Not swanky. It is only a patch and only because in the summer the floor gets hot and in the winter it freezes.....

I like the Valk pilots a lot. I want to scratch a valk in all it's incarnations, transport fighter and the like. I think it would be a fun model to build from nothing, Nice lines and aerodynamics.....

If had the skill you did and wanted to build a valk, I think I would go a mixture of making a valk from scratch, and a mixture of what Klaus does, by making my own valk varient, just to change it up a bit, not too much, but enough
