Reaver number two, on the left above, still needs the crotch and butt guard armour and the swords on the shoulder pads. After that rivets and she is complete. I have decided to forego the scroll work detail on the carapace for these two. I am realizing what a nightmare it is going to be to sculpt that and want to save that particular experiment for my own. So as not to foul these for their owners with substandard sculpting. which is clearly what the first attempts will be..... Automatically Appended Next Post: Gonna get even more epic as they go together. I cannot wait for the warhounds to have all their heads and engine pods....
Sadly Reaver number two will not stay here long enough to be in that shot. May have to get some clean green screen shots so that I can add them all together later..... Automatically Appended Next Post:

Ok. So I have just returned from Friday night magic with good news. I have officially raised enough store credit in winnings to buy two DV sets next Saturday!!!!!!!!
I am so excited about it I can't see straight.
Tomorrow: Complete Reavers and finish armour plating on second Thunderhawk.....
Sunday: Endeavor to finish said thunderhawk to the point that Monday and Tuesday I can rivet it for shipment Friday without having to spend Wednesday and Thursday on anything but the Warhounds.....
Question is: Do I want to convert the DA to CSM or start a second Army?
Thoughts?

That was the general idea. To actually do a whole consistany themed army. Paint scheme and overall design elements that match and all that. I think that the CSM's in th set would be a good start on the nurglification techniques I want to figure out. And on top of that the vehicles all scratched out to match. That sounds like real fun....
I kinda wanna do some preds and vindicators too......

Titans are looking awesome! It's amazing what you've managed to accomplish, and while your first warhound looked good, your newest one is amazing. Also congrats on the store credit, I'm picking up a DV box set myself, even though I don't play either of those armies... yet. : ) The DA could probably convert into some sick looking CSM, especially with the robes. Have you had the opportunity to play any apocalypse games?

No, but I am currently on leave and hope to have finished at least 10 Warhounds when I go back. Or maybe eight and a couple Reavers. That way When my two DV's are done I have a sweet set up for either double Force Org or Apoc.
Working hard now on the titans so havent been posting lately. Kinda miss this banter and wit but I have had to focus. And like Dave says:
