Feth me sidways that's a beautiful dragon, so glad I got him. A little envious that I didn't pick up Nethyrmaul, but the Great Old One shall keep my company as I sleep.

Yep everything is individually wrapped for the most part. The big things are REALLY easy to assemble, like my 4yo could assemble. There is a lot of bend staffs, bones, etc but the material is like a rubbery plastic so easy to bend back. The pieces don't feel "cheap" and seem damn near indestructible.
Spoiler sadness though that Nethyrmal is a bit of a let down, but only because Kaladrax is so epic. Neth is a little taller then Kala, but 1/2 of it is a rock. Regardless for the cost he's awesome.
Clockwork dragon has a few flaws, but saying that is just being spoiled. Nothing that about 5 seconds with a hobby knife and hot water won't fix.

Very glad I got Nethyrmal - think he looks great from the pictures posted above. Kaladrax looks better than the official pictures I have seen as well... still tempted to cut away the bits between the ribs - can anyone with the are they hollow or solid?

They're probably solid, unless there's some sliding mold technology at work. However the good news is that a dremmel with a cutting wheel can quickly get rid of all that fleshy inner area and make a nice skeletal dragon

99% sure it's solid except maybe a small pocket i nthe core of the chest. Cutting out the core of Kala would be a serious pain in the arse. There is a small join line on the right side of the ribcage, but cutting out all that core would take a lot of cleanup work and remove a lot of the stability. If you putt it off though it would be an epic conversion.

That's a fair question/point. What is the material between the bones supposed to represent? What color would you paint it? Dark grey? Bloody skin tones? Purples/pinks like organs? I'm confused.

Green. Undead glowing green... maybe it can be painted like a rot-laced membrane barely containing the evil that powers him. I think "MUHAHAHA" is suppose to follow statements like that.

Hm. 755 orders shipped yesterday. Just under 12k orders left to ship. If packing time doesn't change especially (with more familarity being countered by more complex orders) that means about 4 weeks of Mon-Fri to get all the items shipped.
Assuming my lot goes out in the final day or two (3x Vamp + cases + paint + at least 2 of each add-on) add three weeks for shipping that load and it'll be just a week or two short of the 1yr-anniversary.

Just an update for those interested. I sorted through all my stuff into three big bags. Stuff I like and have a use for, stuff I like bt don't have a use for, and stuff I don't like to sell. I was rather surprised when I ended up with a nearly 60/40 split of stuff to keep vs sell. I was planning to only keep minimal things and seel the rest, but the models really are impressive.
Mold lines on the dragons were cleaned up and the pieces superglued together. The material is VERY easy to work with and the super glue hold is like granite. When it gets down to the smaller or skinnier pieces the flew of the material makes it rather difficult sometimes. If you have ever tried to cut or scrap 60/40 yellow/blue green stuff it's the same consistency. It's a very odd substance.
I tested boiling water re-straightening of 5 models and was shocked at how the pieces went right back to the correct position with little to no effort. I have one of the super thin staff wielders out to see if it goes back but after 5 hours it's still relatively straight.

So what you're saying is that this "Bones" stuff is finely cast.

There is a chasm of differenct between finecrap and bones. Bones doesn't break by just looking at it wrong lol. Actually the bones material seems damn near indestructible (within reason).

I am a heavy chap, and while at origins, I had a couple bones models that I was evangelizing about during some game demos.
At one point, I tossed a Vampire Cleric gal up into the air of the convention center, and had her land on a concrete floor, and then *I* jumped up and down on the fig. No damage.
People's jaw's a dropping.. really impressive material.

So my bones delivery is out for shipment. The real question, will it get to my house before I leave for Massachusetts, or do I have to wait till the middle of July when I come home for round 2 of moving?
Any wagers? I am hoping it gets here before we go, but I probably won't be packing it in the car anyways.
