He has said it is only 70% complete, though, so he'll at least be adding more rivets and the like to the exterior (I believe the interior is finished).

so I recon we'll be seeing APCs full of troops and we might just catch the 'still to be revealed' $155K goal yet.

And I already know how I'm going to model one of the APCs, the Shadokesh freebie, and the Crusader into a single diorama.

I am so pumped about these models, the only thing I will need to work on is the exact step-down to get the APC at the right level for the guns and to have a guy doing a Bodie (Or a Bo Duke) across the bonnet (Hood).

So I changed my total quick and dropped my Heavy Assault troopers by 10x

I realized I can only have six troops options and I already have four for my build XD.

140K hit, APC is in! That was fast

For murals on tanks- the user littleboyblues is fantastic at it, although I don't know if he takes commissions.

Yes, similar to the "nose art" from aircraft.

Another thing you could do is custom decals.. either photoshop something or find the image you like on the web, print it out on decal paper and then stick it on your model. Will only really work good over a light colored surface though since the decal film will be transparent. They make white film too, but you have to cut it out right up to the edge of the artwork or you'll have a white outline around the image.

I was just looking to ask a question to those of you who have resin kits.

How articulate are the fingers on the Mortis hand/gauntlet? I'd like to model it holding a sword. Would it be possible to make it look good? Or would it end up looking a bit strange at the grip point (like this):

I didn't respond because I thought you meant the full-size 28mm one, and I only have the 15mm resin ones. For those, the fingers are not as posable, but he had to combine a Lot of pieces together to shrink it down in resin.

Whereas, for the plastic ones in this Kickstarter, the 15mm one will be the exact same as it's bigger cousin, just smaller

Lurker, I think so, but it may look like Sauron's hand- the fingers are really long. Unfortunately, I don't have a full-size resin one to compare to.

Kind of on the fence. I REALLY want more, but there's no real way to afford it. I may be able to swing $40 though. Which would leave me choosing between the valkir (because they look cool) and the apc (again, because it looks cool. May turn it into a battlewagon if the top can pop off).

If you had ~$40 you had left to spend on this, which would you choose?

Moustaffa- Don't forget that, unless you are willing to wait for the infantry box to ship until later, both of those options would also add $7 in shipping.

So if it were me... I might consider the support weapons box for the stormtroopers, so that you don't have to pay extra shipping (and you'd get it all in November).

At this rate we'll hit $145K tonight, and Mark will need to reveal what the $155K stretch is! My guess is gun additions for the APC (he said he was working on renders of something, and that had been talked about). I don't see him adding anything out of left field or "new", since everything he has added has been discussed a Lot in the Kickstarter comments first. So, that's my guess

Not sure if I'd buy them separately, but hopefully they're free . Not a big deal if not, though- the kit is going to be an amazing deal with the 10 seated troopers as-is.

Looks like that puppy is mounting it's own one shot mortars or something.
