Hi guys,

quick update. This is what I painted a while ago, forgot to post the picture
But here it is:

Yesterday I bought an Ogre and I finished painting pretty much all my Blood Bowl's
(Beetle-Joke (beetle-juice and joker approve))

So yeah today I won't have time to take proper pictures of them but I promise I will update soon.
I will batter my friends to play some games and I will be able to post some bat reps too
Can't wait to play some games Yeah!!!

Okay,

something annoying came up. I took all the pictures, then found out there was no SD card XD
So I had to find a cord .... took me a while but I got it...
That's when you connect it and suddenly the connection falls away, so I thought I just connected it wrong or so
pushed the camera back on again, there where the screens I needed. As soon as I hit ctrl+x ... screen gone and
didn't copy away XD
pfff camera out of battery...
I can't find the charger for the camera so have to wait for the person who does.
So just a little bit more delay for an update

Sorrry xxxx

So finally a proper update

So just a few models left and I will be very much done with this.
To be fair, I didn't spend all to much time with the paints as I really want to play the game, so I
painted them what in my eyes is tabletop standard.
Feel free to comment

yeah,
These are looking great.
The colours are perfect for a blood bowl team, and the split colour uniform looks great, I'd say a bit better than table top standard : )

As discussed I like the blue trim but feel it needs a different colour surface, either Ash Waste or Standard green green grass would work..

You should do the ogre next as a awesome fun thing to paint as a reward for getting the boys done.
The mini is obviously morg n thorg and he's a great mini,
But if you want to make him your own, nameless ogre? you should reposition the raised arm so that it's pointing down, the morg n thorg pose is very easy to spot.
Change the head?... I'm sure I can find you one in my bits box.

Panic...

First of all,

Thanks for the comment, that means a lot to me.
I agree with the grass bit, it will just make it look finished I suppose.
Thanks for the compliments

As for the ogre, a headswap sounds interesting, as for the arms, I thought I might swap them just for the heck of it.
I can just cut his fist off and turn it so it's positioned right. I will have a look at it.
I haven't made any plans for the colours yet :O
Normally when I see a mini I already painted it in my head, but this one is still completely blank for some reason!
I will figure it out
Thanks again though.

Great looking team, and since its humans you get extra props from me as their my fave BB team.

Personally my favourite roster for them was the 4 blitzer, 2 thrower, 6 linesman, and 4 rerolls meaning a sub in case injury, 4 good blockers, 6 meatshields and 2 throwers who are my ball carriers (Not throwers unless I had to). It also means in a league you can develop them a bit before getting a ogre and slotting him in (Means others can cover his small-brain-roll-1-itus).

Love the colour scheme of the purple ones, have you looked at the newer metal human team and its great models and the star players?

Also have you tried them in a league at all or still learning?

They are looking great. Looking forward to seeing the Ogre painted, its a good chance to practice painting flesh tones (which is something I need to work on myself).

I've not met many peeps who preferred humans, that's very cool! I will try that strategy hahha ^^
I've just had friendly games at a games store. They started a league but I don't live in that country hahaha
No I haven't checked the new metal ones, I do have to say I quite like these older models. I also have an
orc team to paint. I want to have these things done before I start collecting or thinking about new stuff.
But yeah still learning.

Staying on target.....

Your team is looking sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

To say you have painted maybe 20 LOTR miniatures and 5 or 6 of someone else's team, your brush control is spot on and really makes the scheme shine!
Keep up the good work!

I'm honestly surprised more people don't like humans, but that could be due to the fact their classed as a middle of the road team, not great bashers, not great throwers and not an agility team. but they counter their opponents weakness.

The almost squad wide AV8 is also nice enough that you can keep them alive... and with the high movement and 4 blitzers you can make some nice combos to ruin enemy players.

All the gw human teams looked great. I had one of each (4 full human teams) I liked them that much, and it was fun to have 4 diff teams going at once in getting experience.

I recommend them in a league setting, you'll find them so much more of a challenge and alot more fun to coach.
