I'l do a little research into dead lanuages and slip a reference in there somewhere.
Lol, there's no pressure, I just want this new chapter out the way because writing a space battle is stressful and I've been saying I'm going to write it for a while now. As I've said I'm half way through so hopefully I'l be done soon, for my sanities sake.

Not Pig-Latin, anything but that. I was thinking more of an ancient language long forgotten they had discovered or something like that (just something their subordinates wouldn't catch up on, but don't use Eldarish since humans can't speak that language). As for Trondheim, there are no deadline here, so don't let him pressure you into publishing something second-rate. 
OY! I find that offensive As the good creator of this story knows I am more than willing to wait for a good lengthy battle than a second grade work.

Desert Thunder - yes my brain is about to burst. First visualize a space battle over thousands of kilometers, then make sure you remember what weapons each vessel has, and how they use them tacticly. Throw in starfighters and your brain is now mush like mine.

Who's meant to be Tom Cruise, Hanko the pilot or MOTF Varro?
All three characters will have their view of the battle expressed through their own eyes, so more to come from them all.
Since my Space Marines are a bit lacking in emotion (to say the least) I felt I could express a wider range with my human characters and I hope that comes across with Hanko and Katius.
