I sculpted/painted one of the older grots with the ponytail to look like smurfette.

I've also painted all my Tau that have the arm with them throwing a grenade (small circular ones) to look like pokeballs.

Only used them once, and that was on holiday in Holland, not much chance to play in Japan.

I always include a "Pistol Pete" model in an army, that is a model with two pistols in place of the usual bolter/CCW... Gives them the gunslinger look.

When I chose to make my skaven the descendants of a litter of escaped 'white lab rats', I knew that somehow, the Brain would have to be my general. Even before there were rules for the Bonebreaker, I had sculpted a head and put it onto a roughly Rat-Ogre-sized iron golem as his 'battle armor.'

About the only humor I have in my IG army are my Chimeras. They are all named for different brands of canned meat (i.e. Spam, etc.)

I really like the humor connected with Orks.
If you look into Ork Codex - there is humor everywere (in stories and pictures, models and phrases).

So I am going to add as much funny conversions to my Ork band as I can. The only think is to make appropriate humor for each miniature (It is important not to overdose )

Here is humor project that I done not so long ago

"Wot, this? I've had this fer ages. Of course the paint's still wet, it's me favorite. Sell it to ya if you like. One careful owner"

I think there is loads of space for humour in an appropriately themed army. Orks are the obvious one, but who can forget the epicness (shudder) that Doomthumbs managed with his Tyranids

I think ther is scope in any army to get random comedy elements in, even if its as simple as singage on a Marine vehicle (this side toward enemy on a land raider perhaps?) or angry graffitti scrawls on Guardsmen

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I'm trying to play my pirate necrons at least semi-seriously, but it's hard. I may just have a bit of humor in there eventually. honestly I like a good humorous model to lift my spirits every once and a while.

I magnetize my models so tend to put them in silly poses by default. I realise that this is no match for the kitty army. I am going to do a left pointing power-fist for extra funk, though.

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

Affton, MO. USA

Mine wasn't so much modeled as just play style. I had built an imperil guard army back in fourth edition that was all metal models. As they were killed off they got flung into the ir into their cardboard box transport with very little care and a snide remark about how they were just meat for the grinder. At first everyone was taken aback, but realized it was a joke nd they all got into it. People even asked if they could toss my models... I feigned being hurt by the suggestion, but then let them.

On to think of it this did help me paint more due to chipping.

Also helped take of some stress at the summary executions of the sgts.

Once upon a time, for a period of time, I used to run terminators in my army with a terminator chaplain. I used a necron, gave him a bowler hat, a toothbrush moustache and a cane....... yes, I'm aware i'm a terrible person.

I took a blood angels fellow, gave him a mug, and drew a heart on said mug, with the words "I (heart) my empra" and gave him to a friend to run as brother corbulo.

Ultrascout carred the backpack of doom. Complete with fuel cannisters, 17 extra weapons, a chain of extra grenades, ultrascout also had a utility-chainsaw on his bolt pistol and insisted on carring a giant pointy stick.

Another attempt at humor was my space marine gunner. Don't know where he went or where the images went to, but the fellow has a large screen, complete with targetter built into it. The marine is a little busy leaning back slamming fists into his forehead, and the targetter in large block letters had "YOU MISSED" written out.

Other than that, I had a string of random things I did to marines. One fellow was a kung-fu marine, covered head to toe in purity seals. Another was the fellow trying to shield his eyes from the plasma gun, another still was facepalming....

15 successful trades as a buyer;
16 successful trades as a seller;

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

i havnt done any major reconstruction but i have done little bits here and there for my orks that are more funny than they originally should have been. Like i have an ork nob with power klaw using half of a trukk's armour plating as a large shield. For some reason everyone thinks its hilarious, and it was just a quick attempt at 'Eavy Armor equipment lol.
