You could use Industrial Credits, and the IC locked chests/vending machine things.

Sounds better than industrial credits.

indusrial credits are next to useless, and aren't worth it

last I checked you get less refined iron back than when you started...

IMHO, gold nuggets would be better, then you could convert them to more RM

Lets just use RM for currency.

why not just use like for like trades like on the normal server, the abbility to EE iron and coal will just lead to hyperinflation

I certainl ydon't like the idea of a huge moving object like that. I doubt dark does either.

With lua theres a simple command that sends a redstone signal. My cordinants are -909, 65, -1783. And tge ship isn't that big, at least not this one!

I'd like to put forward a limit on moving structure's size. I don't want any fugly death stars. I suggest 16x16x16.

1. My island has a 500 block sea until land
2. My ships are NOT "fugly"

Would somebody like to see my ship before making a judgement. IMO it's like mocking someones minecraft building, it's personal.

Dark, would it be unreasonable to say that any ships flying over your own territory without authorisation will be shot down (nuked several times)

well, I'd say within reason.
as in, if your territory consists of a hidden underground base, it's quite understandable to fly over it without realising.
basically, the only way you can nuke a trespasser's ship and not look like a bag is to have a large, clearly defined border with "NO-FLY ZONE, RESTRICTED AIR SPACE" written all over it.
so basically, I'd say yeah, nuking a passing ship is a tad OTT.

I think if they park in your area and wont leave then go ahead and nuke them, but if someones just passing through it shouldnt be that much of an issue.
