I had moved off to build my winter fortress, and have just started outlining the perimeter when I saw an oil spring that you've claimed.
Do you mind my presence or do you wish me to leave ASAP?
(I didn't put the oil inside the boundaries that I"d marked out)

Rule of darkinnit - at least 1000 from spawn. That way we don't have the problem that the vanilla version had. Spawn just became yukky.

In fact, the only room at the spawn I can think of is the desert... and even then that isn't good...

Titans are a bad idea unless you have levels of commitment on the same level as Grundz or Anvildude. You'll start, you'll get bored, there'll be a huge pair of feet outside spawn and nothing else. Then some poor bugger has to either demolish them, or ask you to do it. The resources needed, even in tekkit, are not inconsiderable, especially if you want to go the all-out route. If you build something smaller to a higher standard, you'll get a better reaction by far. I would suggest a super-heavy tank, rather than the largest possible vessel in the entire 40k universe. See how that goes. Baneblade, maybe?

Thanks for pointing this out, as I haven't been near my compound and this seems to have sprung up. I don't like the idea of a titan looming over SchellCo and a bigger wall is not a viable solution.
I think a move is in order...
